What are THE blog sites to promote my site on

What are good blog sites that I should post on to promote my site and how do I get started?

Are there other ground up ways that I should be thinking of to jump start my site and drive traffic.

Please view Made-In.US.com and advise how you would market and create some traffic to generate success.

Thank you in advance for your time.

I just came across an interesting review site and it's free to register and post a review about your own product. The only catch is you cannot post a review about a company/product/software unless you are the developer/owner. Once a review has been posted, you can comment with your affiliate links.

They also have a section called "Caveat Emptor" where you can post a public notice about company/product/software (good or bad). You can only post in this category if the company/product/software is not already listed in any of the other categories.

My advice is if you are a company/product/software owner/developer, get your free review in ASAP. It looks like an up and coming program and from the looks of it, it just started this week.
