Fellow warriors,

I have initiated a withdrawal from Paypal into my VISA debit card two weeks back but the money has yet to be debited into my VISA account. I am in Malaysia.

The transaction has been indicated as 'completed' - but the money's not transferred.

Anybody else experiencing the same thing?

I have found PayPal slow at most things but 2 weeks seems unreasonable. Have you tried contacting them in person?

I know -- you will be on hold forever and you may get transferred a couple of times but sometimes that is the only way to handle this type of problems.

I withdraw straight into my savings account and it is always there within 3-5 business days.
I have made a withdraw 2 days ago so I will keep my eye on it.
2 weeks is too long, I would contact them.

Thanks, guys. Will call them up.

There is currently one chargeback initiated against my account - I am still disputing that. Would this be the reason?

It depends if they put your account on hold for some reason it could be part of the problem if your account works as usual I'm not sure.

Get in touch with them asap. They should be able to help you.

As long as oyur account is not limited by PP< they are not going to slow down your withdrawls.

I have not yet recieved some nice chunk of change in my bank account... I sent a withdrawl request two weeks back... But my car dealer is waiting for me...as I have booked a new one.

No, the account is not limited.

Anyways I have peered into the FAQs more closely - apparently when the status is "Completed" (as it is for my case) - they have already transferred the money out as far as they are concerned.

I've just called my bank and they are on the case. I am hoping that the money doesn't get lost somewhere between the two parties.

Have you contacted Visa. They can advise if the money has been transferred and what the delay is. I have no problems as I also transfer into my bank account.

Once it is out of Paypal's account, it is up to your institution as to how long they take to credit it to your account.

I have one bank which shows up in 2 days and another that takes 5 days each time.

I would contact them if it were over 5 days.
