INTERNET MARKETING

After publishing, when should one start to see traffic from search engines?

I have 15 article views on the 3rd published day. Just wondering if/when it's expected to rise.

Hi James

It depends a lot on the work you did before you submitted. Presumably, you did a proper competitive analysis of the keyword you are targeting. If so, a bit of link building and you could end up with a decent SERPS position; if not, then rethink your strategy.

Just writing and submitting your article to the ezine is not enough. I would suggest using different bookmarking sites to get more link backs to your article. Sites like twitter, facebook, dig, propeller, Stumbleupon, reddit and many more. I use a free site called socialposter. Its a great way to get free traffic to your site or articles

Hi John,

To be honest? I'm not. But that's also because I'm in "plan of attack" mode in this area. I'm currently juggling too much, but I plan on taking his advice for the most part without spinning them all.

Of course, that's also because I'm doing it for different businesses that require different amounts of work.

Have you had luck differently? Other good approaches?

Ezine articles have not worked great for me

You really have to hit a specific key word in my opinion
