Any info on creating powerpoint videos

I keep seeing information regarding powerpoint videos as a way to help generate more traffic. I have also seen others say they are turning their articles into these power point videos.

Can anyone show me or tell me how this is done.

Can you show me an article power point video and the best practices for this type of marketing.

Can you point me to an actual live video so I can see a video for the process in action.

I have other strategies I use to generating backlinks how ever I know how viral videos can become for a few years ago I was part of traffic gyser and was using simple slide shows to promote my website. Although I never gave any thought as to using my articles for this process.

So with out knowing how these types of videos should look I am sorta lost as to making them. Now I have made my own motion videos using photo shop and adding some text in the vieo window but I never thought of making videos out of my articles to the least bit. It would help me a ton since I have several pieces of plr articles I could use for this since I only use those as my basis point most of the time to write my own articles.

The last time I checked I have over 120k articles just sitting here waiting to be used and will not use them to promote my site since they have already been published I am guessing by atleast a few thousand others.

So if an one could tell me how to duplicate the process of building a powerpoint video , the best practices to this technique and point me in te direction to a live power point video.

There's a lot of ways you can turn an article into a power-point video. Its just a matter of how you want to do it.

One of the easiest ways (in my opinion) is by using Camtasia. It's a great software to use and it comes with a 30-day free trial. There's also a step-by-step tutorial on how to make a power-point video.

Here's the link: Record a PowerPoint Presentation with Camtasia Studio

If you want to see examples of power point presentations, you can do a youtube search for "powerpoint presentation".

      Hope this helps!

You will need a few things:-

    An article
    Powerpoint or Open Office
    A microphone
Jing, Camstudio or another piece of video recording software.

You can outline your articles key points with a list of bullet marks and then give a voice over on those points.

Maybe throw in a picture or two.

While doing this you can use jing to record your desktop, last time i checked you could ony record 4 minute videos with jing but its free.

    Good Luck.

      But Jing is Better

Im still new to IM but I'v worked on power point a lot. I made my first online sale just a week ago through my affiliate link in the description bar of a ppt video.

power point videos are easy to do. All you need is content to talk about for around 2-3 minutes. You could do some really nice graphics and animations in powerpoint 2007 to keep the viewers attention. I think a 2-3 minute video should take about 15-20 minutes assuming you do 2-3 takes, put some time into some animations that make it easier for the viewer to understand your message.

Do a couple of run-throughs before you start recording.

I have watched some really awful videos, where the person
keeps saying "um" and "like" a lot. If you see some of my
older stuff you will see what I mean, lol.

Creating a written outline you can refer to with your main
points will help it move along a lot better.

    Thanks Soumitra...
I started IMin in about march-april this year. I wasted the first couple of months trying to promote herbalife products. Since I have quite some phone sales xp, I thought this will be a natural thing for me where I can collect leads giving out free sample packs and then follow up with phone for future orders. Not that the products are bad, but there is so much competition that I couldn't generate any leads plus I made a lot of mistakes too.

However, in the process I did get intimate with wordpress. After that I joined Daniel Turner and Marc Lindsay in their PIM. Its very good. that is when I really started getting a real handle on what IM means and how its done.

And now I have started on Mark Ling's affilojetpack. My problem is the same as many other new people. Im not seeing things to completion and I know that... but its just so boring when you don't have any interest of your own in the niche. It seems most white hat free methods of traffic revolve around content and while I know I can write good content, I cant get myself to sit and write.

But I've decided Im not taking on any more projects.. I have one PIM website now and 2 affilojetpack sites which I am going to stick to. I know this stuff works, it just a matter of putting in the hours.

    Whats your story.
