Mr first $200 day

Good Stuff,

Out of curiosity, when you found your market , was there any competition in it already ? Or was it completely "Untapped" as you say ?

I find to shy away from entering a market, especially with an investment as big as eBook creation, if there is already competition in it.

I know its proablbaly a flaw and i should take more risks, but i want to calculate them

haha

That's awesome. I wish I could hit $200 a day. I haven't seen earnings like that since I ran an incentive rewards network back in 2007. Since I've been out of that business, I've never done better than $100 a day. Still trying though. I'll eventually get there

I am currently getting my second product in a similar area ghostwritten right now and am preparing for launch. Find something that works and stick with it!

Awesome. For some reason I find much more gratification after I make money online, than I ever did working for someone else.

I have yet to hit the $1000 day myself, but I had a record breaking day today too. One of my campaigns did more than $200 on its own. That was a first for me.

Very cool, it just goes to show that if you keep at it and put in the hours, you really can achieve what you set out to do.

I love reading stuff like this because it helps keep me on track and motivated.

I started in June myself but haven't found a system yet. That's okay though it will happen in time.

I also have a full time "real world" job, but let me tell you... money earned online is a lot sweeter. I have my paypal receipts come straight to my blackberry. Hearing that email beep every time I get a sale... nothing better.

Will you be posting updates following this one? I'm very interested to hear of your success journey.

I'm working a full time job as well - although I do get to shuffle around my hours and I often work from home. I've starting writing my first ebook, but it's a long way from finished yet.

Also, what type of outlay (if you don't mind me asking) did you set out for your pay per click campaign?

I've tried adwords a few times in the past and seem to have just flushed money down my toilet, so to speak. It's all such a learning curve.

I am happy for you....just gave me more motivation!

I have been working hard for about 4 months now. I did like you and wrote my own ebook. I decided to give it away for free in order to build a list. It was a hard decision but I want longevity in the business and not just instant money.

It's hard to stay motivated when you havent seen a dime yet but I know it will come. I am thankful for my full time job right now however, I dont make much money. $200-$250 a day would double my income and if I could do that for 6 months, I would leave my job in a heartbeat! That's my #1 goal right now.

So anyway, congrats! and thank you for reassurring me that I am not chasing this dream in vain!

I've gone as far to bold this because it is so true, and those beginning should read that phrase over and over again. Remember, if you want easy, continue going to your nine to five job.

Ben, when I first started I was working like a madman. Practically a 8 hour a day job, after my nine to fiver. Seeing all of my affiliate sales in the morning is a nice feeling, even better to know that the pay off does come, albeit it can take awhile.

Too many of us get distracted with the next shiny object or give up too easily before we even allow our method/system to work its magic.

I've come to learn and realize that this is the biggest mistake those unsuccessful online make.

Congrats,

I have a question about the outsourcing. How did you find people that had knowledge about your niche. I'm concerned I will outsource and get incoherent babble or unrehearsed material. I tried outsourcing for a landing page and had difficulty getting the person to accept instructions on how I wanted it done.

What's the trick on outsourcing? Same goes for link building? ANY special resources?

Wow. Now it looks like you already hit that $1000/day mark in that short month since you created this thread. It is definitely true what you say about pay now and play later or play now and pay later. I have been trying for 2 months now, but I have only been working a few hours a week and been constantly putting it off and wasting my time. I really need to buckle down and start going full on if I want to make it work for me too. Good to see that it is possible to make this pipedream a reality.

I have a question about the main product site(s). Is the main site just a sales letter or is it a full blown content site where each article points to the product page? If it is a content site, what's the general structure (incoming links point to the home page - what's on it - the sales letter or list of articles etc.)?

2. Are you driving traffic just to a sales letter or a whole website?

and 3...

You should add an upsell funnel on your current sales.

Why not put together a $7-$9 simple bonus "one time" report to upsell them? That could really boost you even a bit more. Just a thought.

I did not do anything groundbreaking to get here.

I saw an untapped desperate buyers market, researched the hell out of it and outsourced the ebook creation. I wrote the sales copy myself and spent months tracking and changing to increase the conversion. I outsource the majority of link building now, but I spent hours doing ezine submissions and manual blog posting at the beginning. I've tested tons of different adwords variables and have gotten .04 cent clicks with an average ROI of over 8 times.

If your new: Find a system and work hard. Its not money for nothing chicks for free and it requires an obscene amount of man hours at the beginning, but the payoff is worth the sacrifice.

Hey Ben. I have a product myself in a promising market. Im a little bit behind you in that I'm still working on getting a decent salespage (currently converting at 0.1% which sucks). I can see that you're using paypal to receive payments, whereas I'm using Clickbank.

Clickbank charges more than Paypal, and I get the feeling the order form conversion rate is much worse on Clickbank. Trouble with Paypal is you can't automate the delivery of the product to the customer after they've paid.

How do you get around this? I want to use paypal AND an automated sales process.

That's a great amount of commissions you have showed to us man. $200 a day is so sweet and I wish I want to feel it. I have my first sale on Clickbank today and I'm working to achieve like you have.

But that sounds like too much work!

Just kidding, totally joking.

This is a great motivator for any of us, here. Any of us, even me.

And it just goes to show that we cannot trust the "make $1000" for 20 minutes of work one time sales pages for make money online products (even thought it's possible at times, but usually only after months or years of setup work!).

Those looking to make money online need to look at the reality of the situation if you do things right, and if you do them consistently and work hard. You have actually got to work hard to make some money in this game!

Yeah agree with the comments post when you get a 1000 day. I'm still doing affiliate marketing (very part time) if that makes sense and im on about $10 a day but learning SEO tricks and tips all the time.

I had my first $5 day a couple of days ago, and then the second one yesterday, and today I have already gone over $10 and it is only early afternoon. I have a long way to go to catch up to you. But I am finally starting to make some money. I just hope that it keeps getting better.

I could have quit so many times, and nearly did. But being persistent is the key. Plus posting articles to my blog every day is making a big difference.
