What do you guys use for invoicing?

INTERNET MARKETING

For those of you who work with clients, what do you use for invoicing? I'm looking at all options right now, from dedicated invoicing systems like zoho and freshbooks to a standard paypal invoice. Or maybe even a paper invoice if paypal is still too scary for the average client.

Most people I know like Freshbooks. I personally use our own in house system built off phpLD, as we don't manage just invoices, but also jobs.

We use a program called MYOB however Google docs has some nice invoicing templates.

There is also a lot more online accounting programs poping up which is great if you move around a lot. Specially good to print out an invoice while sitting in the clients office.

My main desires for an invoicing program are:

1) To handle late payment notices and alerts
2) Flexible payment integration (merchant account, paypal, pay by check option)

Is freshbooks good for this?

  I guess I am the odd man out here. I use Quickbooks. I used to use quicken which works great for smaller volumes, but with my volume and needs I find Quickbooks works.
  
  ...plus it makes things easier for my accountant and it tracks payroll via my payroll service.
  
  But Freshbooks is a nice affordable alternative!! Looks clean and simple.

I personally use Quickbooks for my business due to the volume that I do business in. However.. Freshbooks, you can use for free for a limited number of clients or you can pay a small fee per month for increased usage.
Freshbooks is quite easy to use. Quickbooks has its quirks and learning curves.

Quick books works really well. We used this at my old company and is extremely easy to use. If my computer illit cusin could use it any one can.
