How do I transfer files using go daddys ftp to make my blog?

Hi I have recently bought a domain name and put it on my hosting with go daddy. However I am trying to create the blog with go daddys ftp and not having much luck.

Originally I think that I just transferred the files over to the server side without assigning a new folder. Only after that did I create a specific folder (with the name of my site) and transfer all the files.

On both occasions I have gone to
http://www.personaldevelopmentevolut...in/install.php

to install it and it has come up with an internal server error. What am i doing wrong??

    My blog is hosted on godaddy. I opted for wordpress hosting. I simply uploaded the arthemia theme I use for my blog and started blogging. I use Filezilla to upload my files say .php, .html and image files. So did you opt for wordpress hosting on godaddy? I hope this information helps you.

    If your getting an internal server error - that is usually from a misconfigured htaccess file, or a misconfigured server.

    You may want to contact the hosting provider and ask them to take a look at the issue.

    You should call GoDaddy and ask them to walk you through using fantastico to set up your WP bolg. I will take you all of 2 minutes.

      Please do not use fantastico, your not learning anything and sometimes fantastico does not install the latest software, which leaves your site open to attacks.

      When it comes time to update your site, will you know how to do it? The install process of wordpress is just like the update process - upload the files and run the script. But since you used fantastico, your not going to know how to do that.
