Guides to follow up prospects

I am facing this problem. I have a website up to sell ebook and the only payment process I had is manual which is people/prospects have to actually manually transfer the money through bank transfer/atm/netbank. I live in indonesia, credit card is popular but very small amount of people have paypal and I don't know which merchant account provider can process indonesian currencies. So that's the payment process I came up with. The problem is I have many people orders through amember but only 1/3 or less actually ended up paying. So I am losing huge amount of money. I could have tripled the income if I know how to make those 2/3+ pay. Another problem is I have no idea how to follow up those prospects, people who ordered but didn't pay. I have 1 email telling them that they ordered at certain date and if they have any problem paying please let me know but that's the only email I had to make them pay. I think I need alot better follow up emails than that, I just don't have any idea to write them. Can you guys advice me how to do follow up emails? Also any possible things to do to increase the payments?
