I just read an interesting story regarding eBay and Craigslist and a lawsuit that eBay has evidently won (the first round anyway). Seems strange that eBay would need to sue when they own a quarter of the company. But you know how partners can be. If you are interested, you can read it here.

Not really strange at all, and its been going on for several years. Companies sue other partners all of the time, for theft of trade secrets to disagreements over what direction the company should move in...

A good lesson there. Even if you need the money, selling a portion of your company to a competitor may not be a wise decision. Especially if your free model could harm your competitor's pay model.
