Skills to learn before SEO?

Hi All,

I'm a newbie and I have been reading up on the resources provided in the forum. I have a few questions:

1) I have read about SEO, but it seems to a certain extent, HTML/IT knowledge is required. Can anyone recommend any free resources on IT skills needed before starting SEO

2) What's WSO?

3) I have a clickbank account and in many ebooks, people have advised to write an article/review abt the product. I was wondering how you guys come up with these if you dont get to try the product or do not have any knowledge in the niche.

    1) There is not that much HTML knowledge that is required when learning IM. If I were you, I would just learn HTML as you need it. You certainly don't need a technical book on HTML unless that is your real passion!

    2) WSO stands for Warrior Special Offer. These are products sold in the Warrior special offers section of this forum.

    3) Many people writing reviews on these products have actually purchased the product. I would email the writer of the book, and explain to him that you want to review his ebook. Ask him for a review copy so you can write a review of the book.

    They may say yes or they may say no, or they may not reply to your email! If you don't get a copy of the book, you may have to purchase the book. I think this would be the most ethical way to review the book.

    1)It can get a little technical sometimes. I got jammed within the first 5 minutes of setting up my first blog. Youtube and google are your best buddies if the WF is too busy.

    2) Warrior Special Offer. You can find a great many variety of products and services for an internet marketer. Beware though, do your due diligence and check out the claims by the authors. Although this is the BESTTT forum, you still gotta watch out!

    3)Kevin's suggestion is good. I don't have any other suggestions coz I do the same thing!
