Wordpress Comment Feeds Question

Hello everyone, was wondering if someone could help to let me know if there is a way to display partial feeds on a wordpress blog with regards to the comment feed. I'm working on a blog which has both a regular wordpress feed and a comments feed. I have set the settings to show only partial feeds for the posts, yet the comments feed still shows the entire content of the comments.

Does anyone know if there is a way to show partial feeds for comments and if so, I'd sure appreciate some info on how to do this.

    Keep in mind that the partial feed shows 55 words. That is, if your comments have that amount or less, it will show everything anyway. Maybe that is the reason you're thinking is not working.
    You may use feedburner to burn the comment feeds. Inside feedburner you can activate the "summary burner" and choose the amount of words you want to display. You will need to replace the comments feed link on your site with the one generated by feedburner though.

      Thank you very much for the suggestion.

      Is there a way to limit the feeds even if I add some coding to the wordpress feed page if I don't want to use Feedburner? I'm not afraid of adding to the code if this would solve the problem without using Feedburner.

      Some of the feeds in question are much more than 55 words and I'd rather that they not be displayed in their entirety, and would like to know if it's possible to do it without using Feedburner.

      Appreciate the help.

    In the functions.php of your theme add your own filter for the template tag:

      Will do.... I'm still going through them and I LOVE that you also offered the PDF. Videos are great to demonstrate certain material that works well for visual learners, but I really appreciate a Warrior who offers written material as an adjunct. So thanks so much for going the extra mile to do that with your product. As soon as I finish all of the videos I'll provide some additional feedback!
