Hi everyone,

I'm a Clickbank affiliate from Italy and recently I've cashed my first check.

The problem is that I've cashed only the half! Can anyone knows how to solve this problem?

Is there a service that can cash the check and then pay me through paypal or something similar?

Or do I have to use another affiliate program?

Its unfortunate but thats the way it is. When you cash a Clickbank cheque from the UK anyway first the banks will give you a desperate exchange rate then they will charge you a ridiculous amount of money for cashing a US cheque so your left with hardly anything.

If this really concerns you try other affiliate programs that pay directly into your pay pal Im sure Rap Bank does and possibly paydotocom you will need to double check that or ideally sell your own products.

Actually the solution is easy. You can be paid directly into your bank account with clickbank after your first 3 cheques. You need to manually set this up within your account settings in clickbank.

Yes I forgot about that which is why it is a very good idea to set your payment threshold to as low as possible for your first cheques if your getting a bad deal on them.

Direct deposit is not available for Italy

        MAybe a wire payment?

        Wire Payment (International)

For those clients that reside in a country in which we do not currently offer International Direct Deposit (XACH), ClickBank does offer direct wire payment to your bank account for ClickBank accounts with sufficient volume. The additional cost for a wire payment is $35 per wire sent, and an unlimited number of ClickBank accounts can be included in a single wire. Wire payments are available in USD only. To inquire about the availability of wire payment for your specific ClickBank account(s), please use our Account Questions form and select "Payment Inquiries" as the subject line.

Not quite, Richard. That works for you, because Spain's on the list of "direct deposit countries". Italy isn't. (And it's two cheques now, not three - and sometimes they'll arrange on request for it to be one).

Banks in Europe vary enormously regarding exchange-rates and commission-fees for clearing dollar cheques.

In the UK, the cheapest way by far to do this is through a British Channel Islands account (Jersey banks are used to foreign cheques and typically provide a very good service). But whether it's worth opening such an account just for 2 Clickbank cheques is another matter.

Fortunately for you it isn't an issue Caleb, ClickBank offers direct deposit to Canadian banks. But for our friends in countries where this is not offered this is truly a problem.

I know that.. But, for me, I was wondering, whether there would be a difference between banks, like you would get more, if you went to say TD over BMO... (I'm not sure of American Banks lol)

          Hi Caleb

With direct deposit it wouldn't matter, the amount is the same whether you are banking at RBC, TD, BMO or Scotia Bank.

For the first few checks it might make a difference, when I first started working in the US (10 years ago) I had to make arrangements with my banker at TD to accept the checks without a hold or fee. I now have a US bank account so its no longer an issue for me.

            Bill,

At TD with Direct Deposit I never had an issue.... From PayPal... But I guess with a check, that might be something.

BTW, TD has an american version, I've been to one in America, is it better to have an American account there, or at the Canada Trust one, to set stuff up
