Can you find the original email from the hosting company?

i hosted the site through a hosting reseller. He used his own email to create the account, i was thinking it wasn't the right think.
Though i have just contact him now and promised to get back to me.

Once you get a new password from you host, here's an easy way to keep track of all passwords and IDs...

I simply make an MS Word doc, and each time I sign up to a site or to a service where I set a user ID and password, I list that info in the Word doc.

I give the doc a name that has nothing to do with IDs or passwords and save it to my desktop. Whenever I can't remember an ID or password, I simply go to that doc and use the "find" command to take me to the information I want.

It is easy to copy this file to multiple computers, and I just need to remember to update it to the other computers.

Don Schenk, with all respect but i dont think this is good idea to do. What if someone else make use of the same computer hacked your details?

or if the system [laptop] get stolen and they use the saved passwords against?

I agree - the word document is a bad idea. Even a password protected word document can be hacked in minutes.

Roboform is one solution but I switched from Roboform to Last Pass - it's free (unless you want to sync with a mobile device) and stores your passwords securely as well as automatically filling them in and logging you in on websites as Roboform does.

LastPass - Password Manager, Form Filler, Password Management
