Question about one of the WSO/Warrior for hire rules - Don't want to bother mods

I read in this thread http://www.warriorforum.com/warrior-...15-2010-a.html that one can no longer post backlink packets/submission of backlinks to any site that you don't own.

This is also stated in the Warriors for Hire sub-forum rules http://www.warriorforum.com/warriors...12-2010-a.html

However, I have noticed a number of warrior products/services ads that are offering backlink submissions/packets for $x per backlink, and I highly doubt that they own 2000+ sites each (which is what they are offering). So is this or is this not against the rules?

many thanks.

well , can't speak for everyone...But some people have been building network of hundreds, even thousands of blogs for that very purpose.

If you feel that is not the case for a particular offer , you can always report it to the mods

The Devil is in the details....

If you see an offer that you think is against
the rules simply hit the report button ( )

That will alert the moderators who can then
    investigate the specifics.

The mods felt they were abusing other site's TOS, if I remember right. People were selling links to sites they didn't own, and they were getting spammed. It's still kosher to sell backlink packets from sites you own.

      I think.

i could still see some services , clearly selling links on other websites and breaking their tos.

The rule was in place to stop people from starting new WSO's that sold packets like that. The ones that already existed were allowed to remain, so long as they weren't bumped.

I believe there was/is a plan to get rid of them all together but I'm not sure if that's happening yet.
