Are we allowed to submit posted articles to EZA?

Let's say I wrote an article, and then posted it on my blog or site.
Am I still allowed to submit that same article to EZA?

I'm thinking it would be alright since I AM the original writer of that article and own copyright to it.

And on another note, would there be a duplicate content issue, if any at all, that would affect my site ranking?

    It seems that the duplicate content issue won't be a problem though. Look at isnare and artickemarketer services, they all offer article distribution without changing or altering the articles and they still receive a fair amount of customers using their services for backlinking

    Yes - you can still post it to Ezine Articles. In fact many will recommend that you post it on your blog or site first and then submit to EA; others recommend the other way round.

    No - there wouldn't be a duplicate content issue. There's been a lot of debate on that one, butfrom what I've learned it's only an issue for duplicate content on your own site. For instance, on my site some of my content fits into 2 categories so if I post in both categories it will be counted as duplicated. However, it doesn't affect Google rankings as they will only count one of them.

    There are so many threads here about duplicate articles and how to submit it might be worth taking a bit of time to trawl through all the threads using the 'search' function.

    However, that's a quick answer to a quick question.

    No problem having same content all over the net, but Google will only show 1 in the search, meaning it may show higher page rank Ezinearticles, unless your site pagerank is higher!

    You submit to as many article directories for better exposure of your article, and greater chance for people to find your site!
