Does Clickbank police vendors claims

Many vendors make claims in there product blurbs.

Some typical claims are:

Converts 1 in 7

Sale conversions now up 30%

Our top affiliate earn $5400 last month.

What I want to know is does Clickbank police this claims to make sure they are accurate.

I really doubt clickbank cares about these claims.

Clinkbank is in it to win it. I don't think they particularly care what product claims people are making as long as they are making money out of it. That's not saying all of their products are crap, just some....be careful when shopping Clickbank. It's good to get reviews on the product you want to buy at WF or another IM forum before possibly wasting money.

Clickbank doesn't profit from having a clean reputation... God knows some of their vendors don't have clean reps...

Clickbank profits from letting anyone sell any piece of crap digital product, if someone is willing to spend money on it...

If CB were to police the content their vendors post, I seriously doubt you would have ever heard of ClickBank...

p.s. I know CB does have a product approval process, but I seriously doubt if they target all sales copy liberties for accuracy...

I wasn't really querying about the quality of actual products clickbank allows vendor to sale I know from bitter experience some of them are crap. I am more interested in the claims vendor make in their little marketplace ad to get affiliates.

Surely clickbank has some sort of vest interest in helping affiliates choose the best products

I don't think Clickbank tries too hard to give affiliates a helping hand ..

We all know how easy gravity can be fixed .. And what kind of products
are new affiliates trying to push ..

Oh right .. the highest gravity products..

Of course not; there are way too many ventors for Clickbank to worry about. But they do get critical with certain "make money" claims, though. Kingsley

Clickbank does as much policing as Visa does of all their merchants. You can't expect them to vet every single one. Perhaps if they received complaints, Clickbank security might look into it but I doubt they're out their actively policing claims.

That should be up to the consumer/affiliate anyway. Every time I've asked about specific information about claims I never hear back from the vendor. I've done that a few times when they have stats without back up. I suspect they just make it up out of thin air.

In the U.S. the FTC is the police for that type of stuff so you could always report them if you think their claims are fake.

I think the FTC would have a field day spending a day checking out the Clickbank marketplace.

        Absolutely!!

If the FTC went to CB, their little federal heads would literally explode from overwork!!

Talk about getting the feeling that you can never clean out all the rats... LOL
