How to promote a service?

Hey guys and gals,

Does anyone have any advice on how to promote an online service?

So I'm offering a service which happens to be Keyword Research and Analysis. I'm on a few different forums and so far those are my advertising techniques because I'm on really low budget. I wanted to provide this service to make some start up money to fund my higher level marketing.

I'm trying to provide a high quality service but I don't have any takers on any of the forums.

I am desperately trying to build up some capital so I can put this plan into action:

-Create a website
-Promote or create a product
-Build a list
-Get JV partners (God Willing lol)

or you know something along those lines.

Any advice is welcome.

Thanks to everyone in advance.

    Hi there,

I honestly think your best bet would be to stump up the $20 it costs to advertise yourself in the Warrior for Hire section. Alternatively (because I am not sure if you have to be a War Room member as well to do that) you could promote your services through Craigslist (free); do yourself up a blogger blog (free) and then drive traffic to there through article and video marketing, twitter and facebook (all free); or promote yourself on sites like Elance and Freelancer.

    Hope this helps
    Best of luck

I agree. Start in the Warrior for Hire section and build some testimonials and referals of your work.

Haha I was thinking in the back of my head that article marketing and video marketing were going to pop up. But thanks so much for your advice man, I never heard of Freelancer or Elance before.

I agree, Warrior For Hire is a great place to start.

Offer your service, deliver what you promise on time and
always respond to any questions your clients or potential
    clients have.

Try offering a few review orders in exchange for an honest
testimonial. This will help get the ball rolling.

I agree with Rien, first get some testimonials or you won't have many signups.

Offer to work for free for reputable Warriors in exchange for a review.

After that you can market you services in WSO, Warrior for Hire, Signature Marketing in different forums, classified sites and more.

Inorder to get some testimonials should I just ask some senior members if they would like a review copy? or do you have any suggestions on where i should put up a thread advertising my review copies that I won't have to pay for yet?

      Thanks man.

Just make a thread. That way they can put their review in the thread, which is good proof for your customers.

Social communities can work better than many online marketing methods. If you already have certain presence on social networks blend your business deals into them in such a way your community should respond to it. If you are connected with small group who don't have any interest in your products, try connecting with your niche people and keep expanding your network. Provide useful and valuable information about your product. To instantly attract your network you will need to offer something free and valuable! The way your write your message will show great impact on your business. So master your skills in presenting your business the right way.

I think if you go the route of warriors for hire, you should be sure to link to it from your signature and make informative posts on your topic of expertise.

Just having a post in warriors for hire isn't enough to bring you work. You've got to advertise yourself on the forum as well.
