Google Analytics question?

I recently added Google Analytics to my website and have set up a Goal to track the number of people who land on my Thank You page.

When I click on Traffic Sources, then All Traffic Sources and then the Goal Set 1 tab it only shows the "percentage" of people who went to the Thank You page and not the actual number.

My question is, is there a way to see the actual number here instead of the percentage? I've tried clicking on everything I know to click and I can't figure it out.

So, what I want is to see the number of visitors and the number of conversions on the same screen. Is that possible?

Hope that makes sense.

If you scrool down the side bar you will see a button that says goal. Just click that button and it will show you the number of people who have been converted for the time frame you have it set on. However keep in mind that google analytics does run very slow at times. There for the total number of people who have actually clicked through to your thank you page or subscribed to your newsletter landing them on your thank you page could be way off.

I think the best solution is to make a custom report. Even if you haven't done it before, it's easy once you get the hang of it.

    1. In the menu on the left side, click Custom Reporting. After it expands, click Manage Custom Reports.

    2. In the upper right, click "+ Create new custom report"

    3. Scroll to the top and click the "edit" link next to the title. Change the title to "Goals" and click Apply.

    4. On the left side, under Metrics, expand Site Usage. Scroll down until you see the blue bar that says Visits. Click and drag it to the first dotted blue box that says metric.

    5. Now under Metrics, expand Goals. Scroll down to find the Goal1 Completions blue bar, and drag it to the next dotted blue box.

    6. Find the Goal1 Conversion Rate blue bar and drag it to the third blue box.

    7. Scroll down if necessary until you see the green heading on the left that says Dimensions. Underneath it, expand Traffic Sources.

    8. Under Traffic Sources, find the green bar that says Source/Medium and drag it to the dotted green rectangle next to the word "Dimension:" in the gray area under the blue metrics.

    9. Above the blue metrics, click the "edit" link on the dark gray tab that says "New tab". Rename it to "Site Usage" and click Apply.

    10. Down at the bottom, click the Create Report button.

Now you have a report that shows visits, goal counts, and goal percents. It will always be listed for you in the Custom Reporting section.

If you go back into Manage Custom Reports, down at the bottom you will be able to assign this same report to other profiles/sites that you manage.

      Thanks for the replies, guys.

Patey88 has what I am looking for, I think. Thanks man.

I have to go to work right now but when I get home I'll give it a try.

You would think something like that would be a default view. Percentages are nice, but I like to know the actual numbers, too.
