I have a small site that I promote soley with PPC in the UK.

If I look at the stats for October I can see that there were 443 hits from the UK and 6023(!) from 1 ip address in Canada (207.210.222.169)

How can I find out what's going on here and how can I stop it?

      Referrer spam...

On the page displayed, just "It Works".

You can also ban IP's in cpanel if necessary.

Sorry Eric - you lost me there!

Banning the IP in Cpanel sounds like a good idea - thanks!

          Use your browser...

Just add "http://" in front of any suspect IP to check up on it.

            Got it!

Some pretty weird stuff going down on that interweb thingy.

No ip neighbors. This site has the whole ip to itself, which
is surprising considering the amount of content on it.

If you go to Whois record for 207.210.222.169 you get
some contact info, phone numbers, address and it looks
    like related email addresses.
