Hi Ya

Here are a few ways that l use

to get targeted traffic to my

websites:-

l post to directories about twice a week with a few links

l also buy traffic but it has to be targeted which works well

l submit articles but l must admit l get them written for me about 2 a month

l post to forums most days, l also use ppc but only $10 per month

l use one traffic exchange which you can target visitors

l submit my links every month to search engines

Any one else got a suggestion what else l can do?

I use free classifieds sites, and also I can write till the cows home about t-shirt printing - so I churn out 2-3 articles per day and post them to article directories and my various blogs. I then socially bookmark the articles and blogs.

Another method I use is to create "sub-sites" for particular aspects of my business. For example, one popular market for my printing services is stag & hen parties. So I'm currently building my stag do site with lots of info on organising a stag do, and heavy emphasis on the t-shirts side of things. I started it yesterday, it's already looking alright IMO - do take a peek www.stagdosite.com

Blogging and social bookmarking can also bring you in good traffic depending on your niche. Then once you have your blog, you can comment on other blogs in the same industry and develop backlinks in that manner as well.

I use usfreeads.com and it seems to work quite well for me. I am using the 10/month option.

You mean using manual or autosurf traffic exchanges? Those are not really good for bringing traffic to a website. manual exchanges like trafficswarm.com are good for building email lists.

You can build your email list or use something known as a splash page to bring targeted visitors to a website, however this can make the targeted visitors you get very expensive/time consuming.

Having one banner at a reasonable price on a tragetted site for your niche can be good also and often overlooked. Some sites are just happy to be approached to pay for advertising on their site, a lot of these people, especially in hobby markets don't really know anything about net marketing so you can get some bargains. The way they see it is they are getting something for nothing.

    Try adswaps.

If you have a list I am willing to do one with you. My list size is currently at the reach of over 19,000.

    PM me if you're interested.

I could not find adswaps - the domain is under construction... 19,000 in the list is pretty good... is the list responsive?

I don't think submitting links to the engines does anything anymore... they're gonna find you anyway by those other methods you're using.

I suggest that you get more articles written. Go from 2 to 50 or 100 per month.

Press releases and article marketing have worked well for me. I will have to try the free ad way and see how it works for my niche.

I get a lot of traffic with Twitter. Here are some tips that I use.

    1. Post Some Interesting Things Going on In Your Life - people are interested in learning more about you as a person.

    2. Target your market by searching for your niche area - find and follow people of interest that you can learn and grow from in your niche market.

    3. Join Professional Social Networking Sites - find the Twitter groups and write a blurb about yourself. People that are interested will follow you with links back to your site.

    4. Post a question with a poll - of course your poll will be on your website or blog but let everyone know that you have a poll.

    5. Ask for help or direction in an area where you need clarification - people love to share their experience and knowledge to help others.

    6. Don't just post tweets, get involved with conversations - it may seem awkward at times but join in and respond to tweets. The more involved you are, the more friends that you will establish.

    7. Review your followers and decide if you want to follow them back - some people may unfollow you if they feel you aren't responsive or engaged. You don't have to follow everyone but it's a great idea to follow the ones that you feel would be a great asset to your knowledge base.

    8. Sign up for TweetLater to help with automation - you can set it up where an instant thank you message is sent to all of your followers with a link back to your site.

    9. Post your Twitter link in your social networking sites like Myspace, Facebook (has an application that automatically shows all of your Twitter updates), LinkedIn, etc.

    10. HAVE FUN WITH TWITTER!
