Pls Suggest Autorepsonder for Event Registration+email optin (i.e. ppl can optin twice)?

Hi there,

I'm using both aWeber and mailchimp. I have my events set up that people can RSVP off an optin form from either and when they RSVP for the event, they also optin to the newsletter. That works great the first time.

But for subsequent events, when they try to RSVP again, they will get a message saying that they are already subscribed to the list (or rather, I have it set up so it goes to a custom page thanking them for their optin, but I don't get an email telling me that they filled out the form again).

That doesn't help me in the long run. Is there a way to do it with one of these, or another reputable autoresponder?

Or is there a better way to do this? Is eventbrite (which integrates with Mailchimp) the way?

Thanks.

It's considered good practice to place people on specific
lists rather than just collecting them on one big list only.

So, segment your list whenever you can.

Therefore, I recommend you create a list for each event
so that you can follow-up with them more specifically.

And you can also have a list for your newsletter.

This would also allow you to receive notifications when
they sign-up to each new list for the different events.

It would work in AWeber anyway.

    Dedicated to your success,

segmentation is a must I like using mailchimp because I can segment based on demogrphics and not just what they signed up for
