Hey Guys,
I was inspired by Vince to share with you my humble testimony about my little success story in this year 2010.

I started learning internet marketing on the 19th March 2007 after I completed 6 years contract in the Army as a Regular.

My friend, James began to invite me weekly IM workshops conducted by Jaz Lai.

I was really confused about article marketing and affiliate marketing.

Soon I began to start outsourcing articles from Need An Article.com.

But to no avail, while creating my squeeze page and driving traffic using articles, I do not have any success online.

So I began finding a new job and work for one year.

On 25th October 2008, I was very desperate in wanting to find a mentor and I met Jaz Lai on a one on one coaching session.

After that he helped me creating my marketing system and I just made a sale after many months of hard work.

I began finding another job and working for another year and then one day I got really frustrated with my mediocre life!

My passion is always about doing business and I enjoyed studying business and read biographies from Robert Kiyosaki and Donald Trump.

I was pondering this year for about 6 months about why I cannot succeed making money online and I figured out that I need a mentor to help me kickstart my internet marketing career.

So I was fortunate that I signed up a mentoring program on the 25th June 2010 and he helped me with the product creation process, salesletter copywriting and I completed setting up my marketing system, funnel on the 25th August.

I began started driving traffic on the 29th August 2010 and after 3 weeks....

I hope my humble little success story can boost the confidence of internet newbie marketers who has not made a single sale online yet.

It is all about focus and the determination to complete a task and keep on going till you achieve your objective.

I'm glad to see someone else using the same method I am

EDIT: BTW, this month I finally crossed 15,000 subscribers and I beat all my income records and ended up crossing 7k in one month

EDIT: I do have a $4000 a month outsourcing budget but that's because I don't want to write content, create backlinks, do research and all of the other boring work by myself but I want freedom.

I also think my outsourcing team is responsible for my fast track success (from 0 to 7k in about one year )

EDIT: After re-reading this reply I realized that it's all over the place but it's 12:54 AM so please don't expect much from me LOL

It's crazy to think you started this whole thing 3 years ago and got nothing out of it, but now in just 3 weeks you are finding success. It's amazing what happens when you get focused and start doing the "right" things.

BTW, you mentioned all mentors and program prior to your most recent success in detailed except this... Was it intentionally left out?

Most of my traffic comes from solo ads and adswaps.

Thanks winsonlim, that should help a lot of people to get that extra bit of motivation they're lacking. Quick question, I've seen a lot of sites offering solo ads. Do you have a preferred site or can you recommend a site which is good for doing solo ads?

Hi Scott,
My mentor taught me that the key to product creation is leveraging on PLR products.

You don't need to be successful to sell information products. If you read my salesletter, I did not show any income proof and just share my story about me and my mentor.

But my salesletter still converts at 3.64%.

So the key is how you write your salescopy, outsourcing your graphics and someone who is a 6 figure income earner to help you do a fair critique.

Anyone can get started. It is just a matter of having to desire to succeed and then start taking action.

The feeling of FINALLY seeing a return on all of your hard work is unreal. It's relieving and exciting at the same time.

And the progress that your seeing mixed with that excitement makes a powerful combination - It lifts you up and propels you forward at an even faster rate.

You know it works and you know how it works. Now you just want to ramp up your efforts and turn that $100/week into $100/day and beyond.

The biggest lesson we can learn from your story is that you shouldnt gbo for quick money. Build a business by creating a sales funnel and start vbuilding your list. This is the best way to work towards a sustainable good online income I believe.

I remember how I started my IM journey, I placed google adwords ads out for several affiliate programs and the first sale I got was from VMC satelitte for $50 in january 2005. since then I found article marketing to be much more cost effective than regular ppc

You deserve to feel really proud of yourself - you mention having a mentor who obviously put you on the right path, but you deserve the credit too for firstly listening to your mentor and secondly taking action - If other people followed the same ideal and set up a business system not a one time wonder there would be a lot more successes on this forum

So your creating your own products and listing them on Clickbank for others to promote or are you promoting other people's products on Clickbank?

A while back I stumbled onto who offered video training courses where he showed and explained how he has used the internet to make millions over the last few years. He keeps a low profile and tells it like it is. You really need to understand that there is no short-cut to millions, but there are many tools and techniques that you must understand.
As we started talking, I found that my perspective for marketing online changed dramatically! I went from a "sell attitude" to "how can I help"

I am back to report my progression!

It has been one month since I keeping track of my list building and profits.

Here's my aweber screenshot:

So far I have bought 4 solos and done countless of adswaps for the past one month.

This is what I do to build my list and make money online.

Here's the paychecks I have received from Clickbank so far:

It shows that the list building model works!

Don't give up. Don't ever give up my friends.

It's just the matter of time you can do it too.

Thank you for this story. I have been into IM for about 3months and I haven't got that much of sales. Usually the sales comes from ADsense. I think there are things that I have been missing.

I am quite concentrating on writing articles and building backlinks. Do you have other things that should be done aside from this two? Thanks!

Congratulations, Winson. It's fortunate that you had a coach very early on, as I truly believe that having the right coach (which I'm pretty sure you did) was what allowed you to dramatically shorten your learning curve and achieve some measure of success so quickly.
