Happy birthday to me, I turned 22! Some words of wisdom.

Time to get hammered Aussie style, lots of beer(Hate Fosters) and making a complete ass of myself(more than I usually do)

Boy time flies, I still remember my first day at Primary School like it was yesterday, even scarier, I realized a quarter of my life has passed, most of which has been wasted

Oh well never mind, that is in the process of being rectified, this forum has been very life changing, with all the valuable information and ideas that are exchanged everyday on this forum, the War Room membership is totally worth it, and the only IM related purchase you will ever need to really make IMHO.

The biggest thing I have taken away from this forum in my short time here is to take action(Cheesy and cliche I know) If you don't, then obviously you will not get very far and always be a dreamer.

Build a list, this is key of you want to maximize your earning potential, if you know anything about sales, you will know that sending cold leads straight to a sales page(especially Clickbank) is not a viable long term business strategy since they are hard to convert with no kind of relationship, which leads me to my next point.

The notion of the money being in the list is a half truth, the money is in the kind of relationship you cultivate with your sunbscribers. If you are planning on making a lot of sales, you won't do it providing freebie after freebie, you must pitch your readers. You have to condition your customers psychologically to expect to be pitched to(Hope that made sense) You still have to provide valuable content to your readers, but you must not be afraid to pitch them either, afterall, you are in the business of making money, otherwise you run the risk of the opposite happening and you wont make any sales at all.

Content is king, nothing pre-qualifies your subscribers more then a highly informative engaging piece of content. I find the sweet spot around 1500 words. Contrary to popular belief, your CTR is not indicative of quality, it is the last thing you should be concerned about. In my experience, the better quality your content, the worse your CTR, conversely, despite this anomaly, the better the conversions you will experience.

Consequently, when you outsource content, you get what you pay for(Remember that)

That is all grasshoppers,

Have a good day!

Chris

I came in here thinking "WTF kind of wisdom does this young pup think he has?" - and there it is.

    Good stuff. Great advice.

    And happy birthday, man.

Not many of my many down under friends like Fosters. If they do they don't admit it. Victoria Bitters seems to be the top choice from Aussies I know.

Good post Chris. Save it and print it out. In five years on your birthday, pull it out and read it. Maybe post again at that time. Where will you be in five years.

VB is popular amongst the bogans/poor. But its TV ads are the best ever made. Hands down.

Matter of fact, I got it now.

Happy birthday to you, pal, but seriously - did you
really waste most of those past years as you think
you did? We think we have wasted lots of years
when in actual sense those times were times when
we had to learn some very valuable lessons in life
that will take us to where we want to get in life.

So - without such "wasteful" years, many of us
won't get to where we are now,

Enjoy the time past and the time to come!

Happy Birthday Chris. It sounds like you've learned quite a lot during your relatively brief time here, and it's great that you realize the value of taking action. There is so much that can be learned through reading the posts, interacting with the people here and being a War Room member but ultimately, this will be all for naught if you don't apply the knowledge that you've absorbed. This applies to all endeavors in life, and this is probably also why there are so many intelligent geniuses out there who are either dirt poor or just barely surviving! It's not from a lack of knowledge that they're barely getting by, but rather a lack of application of that knowledge.

    Hey Chris,

    Wishing you a great birthday!

I haven't experience about beers of your country, so I accept what you say. Btw I prefer wines, there are excellent producing places in Hungary.

Yes, time flies away rapidly I know (beeing beyond the sixth X). But we will be more matured and experienced simultaneously -- so this yourney has a purpose. You only need to use your experience wisely.

Anyway, I feel that people like to remember to the pleasant memories only, ehh? At last so am I.

As I see, you've learned some useful things about list building already. This is only the one side of the story -- as you said accurately. It may be easy or hard to get a new subscriber (depends on you and your methods). The single sale is good but the REPEATED is much better. So the essence is to KEEP your audience. For this reason is important to build fruitful relationship with them. They deserve that. If you give -- you'll get. Win -- win.

What concerns to outsourcing, I agree.

    All the best,

    Sandor

    Happy Birthday, Chris!

Words of Wisdom: Don't allow those who have not accomplished anything in their lives to thwart your dreams. This is especially true of family and friends. That doesn't mean you can't learn from their hard knock stories.

Once read this on a fortune cookie.

And guess what, I found nothing of any significance whatsoever that month, what a ripoff. :p
