$50,000 a Week from a One Bedroom Apartment

I totally found the magic bullet, the magic bean the one thing that will make you more money you could ever imagine.

The moral of this story is to stop chasing the magic bean and looking for something that will make you money for nothing.

Yes there is no doubt that these tiny little classified ads worked back then, but he would be lying if he didn't admit it took a lot of hard work.

I have read and applied the same information products that many have called scams, and made a lot of money with them, because I knew if I busted ass I could make them work.

I can promise you this, you will never make any money if all you ever do is read the info product.

You will never make any money if you just "give it a try: then quit way to early.

If you are not where you want to be do the exact opposite of what you are doing now.

If your looking for magic bullets stop, if your only working 1 hour a week try working 30.

If you are not putting in a daily consistent effort do it.

You just might be surprised.

Don Lapre is my info product mentor. I made $10,000 in six months selling short reports on paper through those tiny classified ads. That's almost half what I was making at my day job. And Don's biggest advice for scaling this up was...

    Wait for it...

    Outsource.

Most of what we teach today is the same thing Don taught back then. Replace newspaper classifieds with AdWords and other PPC, and you've got the same underlying concepts. The same things sell. The same principles hold.

We might use AdWords instead of newspapers, and PayPal instead of checks in the mail, and PDF files instead of a printed report stuffed into a 9 by 12 envelope - but it's the same damn thing.

Almost 20 years later, nothing is all that different. Even with the internet.

Exactly, everything we do now is basically proven advertising principles that we have been using for hundreds of years.

Just replace giant wooden paintings on the sides of building for banner ads. and the list goes on.

and replace standing on a milk crate yelling out headlines for youtube videos...

Back in the day, Tom Vu was THE MAN. I went to one of his seminars, it was in a huge meeting hall and it was packed, totally SRO.

I remember wanting to buy Don's Lapre's product so bad when I was a kid but couldn't cough up the change to do so.

Then one day I saw it sitting on someones shelf and I sat down and went through the whole thing. I was glad I didn't spend the money on it, but I was thrilled that it did give me a few ideas.

It was the first piece of info marketing I ever read.

Shortly after I bought the Mega Memory system from Kevin Trudeau and the Mega Speed Reading from Trudeau and Howard Berg. I still to this day think they were outstanding purchases and well worth the money.

Yes! I bought Don Laprie's course back in the mid 90's from a friend who bought it and decided he didn't want it. I wish I still had it, but I threw it away a long time ago. It wasn't that the product sucked, I just didn't have the confidence in myself at that time to make it happen.

Tom Vu's commercials crack me up. As a matter of fact, he still pops up every now and then. He actually became a professional poker player and goes by the name Tommy Vu. I've seen him in poker championships on TV a couple times.

At 50 Grand a week you'd think Don could have upgraded to a 2-bedroom apartment...
