I have 300.00$ in hand.. Help?

I want a new technique, or a great coaching service to learn some new things about Affiliate Marketing and put it to use. My budget is currently 300.00$ and I don't want it wasted. Any great products or Idea would be great. I'm tired of out of date bullcrap being sold on the internet, or just from people that don't know what the h*ll they are doing. I've been interested in Affiliate marketing for 2 years now doing nothing but research and trial and error. Never made a sale. Its pathetic, and I'm ready to try the best.

My thoughts so far is investing in Micro Niche Finder, But I'm not sure what great uses I could have with it, Other than finding a a good Niche.

I have a blog, on Weight loss. I failed Why? Because its a Saturated niche with thousands of competitors, thats why I chose Micro Niche finder so far.

I appreciate anyone's help to a person in need. Thank you.

P.S. I have done some searches on the WF, and I read a lot. But most of it was a long time ago. I realize things change, so I want something up to date.

Before you spend any more money, I would try and identify WHY you haven't made a single sale.

    Was it a traffic issue?

    Traffic, but poor quality traffic?

Or were you simply promoting offers which didn't convert? (poor copy?)

No new product is going to tell you where you went wrong, YOU need to identify the issue which has stopped you from making any sales.

If you haven't identified the fundamental problem holding you back, no new method, technique you buy is going to make any difference to your results.

When you identify, then fix the specific issue holding you back, then you will start making sales

I hadn't made a sale because Weight Loss WAS my Niche. Its saturated. Things are moving all the time, making it hard to stay on the first page. I had a few posts that we're on the first page of google searches but it still didn't help that their we're to many competitors. Promoting products and seeing no conversions. This is possibly do to the relation with my traffic, they had no trust in me.

This is why you failed. You got exactly what your expectations were. I know it is tough love but you really do not have to spend a dime to make money. Well maybe a couple bucks for a domain and hosting. It's all in the attitude. So what if there is tons of competition. Think Mcdonalds cares 300 million people can make their own burgers at home?

I have of course made the most online with my own products but my affiliate marketing will soon take over. I have the correct formula now that makes money it is just a matter of sticking to it and not looking at all the so called butterflys flitting around.

EDIT: Actually I agree about the war room membership. Best money I have spent yet (everyone said that before I bought it and I did not believe till I had access). Market Samurai also.

you don't really need advanced tools unless you are mass producing sites.

i would suggest holding off on the micro niche finder and learning how to manually research first. by doing that you'll get a better understanding of the process.

I tried hard learning how to do that, But I never understood how to know if it was a good niche or not, or if it was full of competitors. Any suggestions on how to learn to do that?

This is what I know... a good niche is any niche that involves Health, Wealth, or Lifestyle.

Drill down to your sub-niches and focus there. You want to target buying traffic like 'Lose Weight While Pregnant' over 'Weight Loss'.

If you think you about it you can turn your sub-niches into niches.

If you want to stay in the weight loss niche but don't want to compete in SEO, then find popular sites and spend your $300 buying ads on those sites. Keep investing to build your traffic and build a large list of newsletter subscribers.

Now say I wanted to keep my site, or give it another shot ( I don't want it going to waste ) How could I compete with SEO on Blog Posts? I prefer organic traffic over paid. I can't remember how the SEO works, something like Keywords in the header, closes to the beginning of the title? I did it on a few blog posts and it worked pretty good, but I don't think I did 100% of what I needed to do, and reach #1 spot, and stay there.

Free organic traffic isn't really free - it takes a lot of work.

Yes on-page SEO is easy, but to compete in the health niche you'll need to build tons of backlinks. So you'll need to do article marketing, social bookmarking, etc for every page you want ranked.

You can download MarketSamurai for a free trial, and perhaps spend your cash on article writing/bookmarking submission services, or outsource an ebook/report to give away.
Whatever you do, build a list of subscribers.

Why do I need backlinks and article marketing? I had posts I made just for information that hit pages 1 and 2. And are still there.

Well if you're ranking well but not making any sales, then perhaps you're ranking for the wrong terms, or not pre-selling very well with your content.

And like I've already said if you're getting traffic, build a list. Invest in Aweber or similar.

Alright, I will build a list with Aweber by putting a sign-up somewhere on my site. Now what would be the best way of converting them? I was thinking; Get them to trust me by sending them real information like on my blog and give them opportunities to communicate with myself with any questions. and then when I feel satisfied with the relation with my subscribers, then send out high quality Products about weight loss and such.

          Sound good?

A proven method is to write a killer report and give it away in order to get subscribers.
Advertise it on every page, or use a popover so they can't miss it.

And most importantly, spend time (a lot of time) observing what your competitors are doing and try to figure out how they are getting results.

The main 2 reasons people fail is this : Not enough targeted traffic & Poor conversions, yet that seems like the area most marketers work on.

Figure out where you went wrong like the rest said before you blow that 300.00 on non-sense.

You said you are placed good on SERP without doing much SEO? Probably you are ranking for something that is not money maker. Total absence of competition is not a good sign.

I'm pretty sure you will burn that $300 without profit but loss j/k

There so much to learn about marketing. Quality traffic is difficult to attain. Conversion is another killer. Anyway, as you become more experienced, you will eventually get it over with.

Still a long term to success Never stop yourself from learning and testing. Never quit either

You'll definitely burn through that $300 if you don't know what you're doing.

I find that people who ask these kinds of questions basically always end up failing because they are not willing to do the work educating themselves first. They want others to tell them a step by step system to go make money easily.

If anything, use it to buy a $37 War Room membership and start downloading all the content there. Once you have a basic foundation in marketing, only then can you move on to the more advanced stuff. Otherwise you will suffer massive information overload.

Also, Google the term "bum marketing" or "article marketing". It's a great place to start earning while you learn.

    Cheers,
    Matt

If you have to succeed in Internet Marketing, you have to develop expertise in some area. It may be genuinely helping people to solve problems and make affiliate sales.

It may be providing a service that is of high demand. The bottom line is to provide value by which you stand out and only then you stand a chance to make a sale.

Just tuck the $300.00 away in a safe deposit box, at least, until you understand why your first site failed. I believe it did not fail because you had no money - people have made it in this niche with zero capital (or less).

Secondly, it was not because the niche is saturated. Ask around. People will tell you that it's nowhere near that.

So, find out what you did/did not do. Join the war room. I have not joined, yet, but I believe it's an investment that will pay off.

You can use PLR articles that related with your niche to help you write, just dont use as is, but try to change the content litle bit. be patience and stay focus my friend

I have been bumbling around for about a year and a half, but am now really focusing, you need to measure everything, and analyse everything as well. Theres no point spending the 300 on advertising if you are advertising to the wrong people, you need to test things and mix things up and when you hit on something that works keep smacking that while building other little niches. look on here at the WSO, I have found some diamonds on here that are way above a lot of the IM rubbish you will find on clickbank, some of the stuff on clickbank is awesome but not everything is, I have only just started to ask for refunds for stuff that i have gotten that claims to be the newest greatest thing on the planet but is nothing new and/or misleading, thats something else you need to learn to do. Stick up for yourself, you are the only person who really looks out for you so make your own decisions.

Check out on proven money making affiliate marketing programs. Once you have a domain name, host company, signed up for few good programs, you can have a good website promoting your affiliate programs. You will then need to market your online business i.e. getting traffic to your site.

    Caution!

Check out the details of the affiliate programs if they are what you really want. Some are free to join and promote. Others require a fee. If you don't want to invest much, choose the free ones and use your money to do marketing.

      That's not why you failed.

Saturated niches are a good thing. This guarantees there is a demand for answers.

I don't know you or your skills, but I can speculate why you failed.

      1. Didn't focus on a specific area within your niche
      2. Didn't provide value to your readers for them to want to stay on your site
      3. Didn't market yourself far enough beyond your own site
      4. Didn't make a list of subscribers
      5. Didn't get involved in a niche that your heart is in
      6. Didn't have a solid business plan in place
      7. Didn't wait long enough, and were not consistent with your efforts
      8. Was relying solely on getting your site ranked - when you can still make traffic and sales w/o doing that
      9. Did not explore every way to get traffic to your site
      10. Was looking for the quick buck, not realizing there is no new method or technique needed to make money.

Yes, there are tools which can simplify things and make some tasks a bit easier, but there is no new method or tool that will guarantee you to make money.

So, if I were in your shoes and had $300 bucks what would I do?

Sounds like you have hosting. Sounds like you have a site.

First I'd evaluate if I wanted to continue in that niche. Does it bring you happiness to know you are helping people to lose weight? Are you qualified to offer this type of information in the first place? Do you have personal experience to draw from? Have you had personal experience with using the products you are promoting or do you know someone who has?

You don't need MNF to find a niche - and personally I wouldn't spend a dime until I found a niche that excited me and was something I wanted to soak myself in a bit.

One of the reasons many Newbie marketers fail is that they try and "blaze a new trail" Great, if you are looking for new expensive adventures - not so great if you are looking to bank coin.

There are many time proven classic step-by-step methods available for you to learn and profit from, before doing your "own thing".

These systems have tested and proven sales funnels, autoresponder sequences that are proven to convert. Why re-invent the wheel when you can profit and learn from the get-go.

P.S Microniche Finder is by far the most effective and user friendly value for money keyword tool money can buy. But then I am biased...I use it and love it.

Actually, I'd invest in the private members area of this forum(I think it's $25) and then you will receive all sorts of free marketing stuff. Also I'd go ahead and invest in Market Samurai(not Micro Niche Finder)....mainly because you can do the same things on Samurai PLUS you can market and advertise directly from the software. Hope this helps
