Which Keyword Tool Are You Using?

I've been using MicroNicheFinder for the past month and loving it...even built a few sites around the keyword reports I pulled. Everything seemed to be working out just fine...that is...until tonight when I decided to cross reference some search results with Google and found that some terms which appeared to have a few 1000 searches, had merely a trickle according to Google.

Kind of a bummer since I have already pulled multiple reports for sites that I intend to build down the road. Which tool are you using with success? Are the reports accurate? Thanks.

People often type complete questions into search engines: if you find these questions and answer them, you could get some great search traffic. Enter a single or a short keyword to find the questions people are asking in your market :

I use SEO book keyword suggestion tool. But I heard it only gives you like 50%-60% of the actual search results.

I'm a starter, but I am willing to try everything I can to be a successful internet marketer and chase my dreams. If you can answer any of my questions, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you.

I've used MNF too the past couple of weeks and found no significant discrepancies between the reports it generates for me and those I get when I cross-check them with the Goolgle keyword tool.

Have you brought this up with MNF support? I'd like to know what they have to say about this problem you've encountered.

Ok weird, I just ran the same reports again and now I see that Google is giviang me numbers more in line with what I found using MNF. I had the "exact" option checked both times...strange...

Wordtracker. The paid version. I've got thousands of keywords stored there. Can go back and re-run same research.

    I use Google Keyword tool

All these tools are based on data, which one do you think has the best quality data to work from? Google, from its own search engine queries

I doubt if there's anything that's close to or better than the quality of KW research that's provided by Dr. Ken Evoy's Brainstormer tool that's bundled with SBI / Sitesell.

I use SEO Book. I was using Google Keyword Tool until I discovered it might be the most inaccurate out of all of them. There have actually been quite a few posts regarding it here.

I like SEO Book, Google's tool and Wordpot ( Wordpot - ). Wordpot claims to be more accurate than Google, since it filters out searches by bots. But to be honest I don't know exactly how accurate any of them are, which is why I use more than one.

WordTracker and Google Keywords Tool. And I use Market Samurai as an interface, plus more additional features beyond keyword research, for Google Keywords Tool.

      Hi,

if you can overlook its arcane interface and Jim's disturbingly chipper photo then Nichebot seems OK. It has many annoying aspects, feels abandoned and I've had patchy experience with support, but I like its pay-per-use model, i.e. low monthly fee and additional credits available for keyword-aholics. I never come near my (accumulating) monthly quota so it costs me beans. It uses the Wordtracker and Keyword Discovery databases but at a lower price. It also uses Google.

I agree with marcanthony and pink sapphire. I use wordze, google tool and market samurai. I have access to word butler, and have tried nichebot, wordtracker, seo tool, wordpot and lots more. I like wordze and google tool because that is what a lot of the ppc guys use.
