CB hoplinks in autoresponder?

I've got a clickbank product (where the landing page is a squeeze page) that's growing in popularity and in dealing with affiliates I keep getting asked how they can be sure that if someone opts in to my e-mail they'll still get commission if they buy at a different point in time.

I understand that a cookie is placed on the prospects computer, but if they receive a follow up e-mail on a different computer and buy then the original affiliate won't get the commission.

I'd be interested to hear how anyone else handles this situation with CB? Is this a risk affiliates should be happy to take?

Or is there a way to track hoplinks and re-insert them into every e-mail that gets sent out?

Or maybe some other solution I'm not thinking of?

Any advice would be great!

Thanks

There's a product by a fellow Warrior, Chris Kent that
does exactly what you're looking for.

He's got a WSO for it too (not mine):

    http://www.warriorforum.com/warrior-...portunity.html

It shows you how to dynamically insert the affiliate
details into a webform and then send out their affiliate
    links in the follow-up e-mails.

The solution I normally enounter is that the vendor has two different sales pages, one with an opt-in and the other without. (You can list two different sales pages within one Clickbank account). You just announce in your marketplace listing and on your vendor spotlight page "Opt-in-free version of sales page also available for affiliates".

Some will; some won't. The affiliates you most want, who can produce most sales, of course, mostly won't.

Because they're the ones building their own lists - and it's a safe bet that when their skills, work and resources have generated the potential customer, they want that person on their own list, rather than on yours.

This is the thread that will most help you, I think.

If you have a specific email series that you prefer the leads to receive, you can always make those emails available to affiliates, through your affiliates' page, for them to send out themselves.

Thanks. Both are great answers. And if things run smoothly I'll implement both of them, but I've got one quick question...

I've contacted clickbank in the past about creating a second landing page before but they told me it wasn't possible. I'm sure it is because I've seen others doing it.

Do you know where I could find more info (besides clickbank themselves) on how to set up a hoplink to a second landing page?

      Thanks

I think you just have to pay a reduce listing fee to CB and they will let you have the second landing page.

I think you're thinking of additional vendor accounts (which are indeed available at the reduced price of $29.95), but this isn't needed here.

You can actually have up to 500 products in one vendor account, but you get only one marketplace listing and one commission-rate shared between the lot of them. However, for this purpose, that doesn't actually matter at all, and the most that's needed is to add the "no-opt-in version" as an "additional product" to the existing account. But I believe there's also an alternative way of doing it without actually needing to classify it as an "additional product".

More than this, I'm afraid, I can't tell you. You need a vendor to advise you.

But for what it's worth, you have my sympathies over dealing with Clickbank and their bizarre concept of "customer service". It is, indeed, at times, terribly difficult to get any sense at all out of them!

Yes, I'm not looking to add another product or site to CB, i'm only looking to add a second landing page. For example on "the truth about abs" affiliate page you can get several different hop links that direct to different landing pages that ultimately end up selling the exact same product.

I've contacted clickbank again, but like you said, who knows what kind of answer I'll get or when they'll come up with it.

So if anyone else knows how to do this I'd love to find out about it.
