Running out of Article Ideas? - Here are Two Methods to Take you out of an Article Drought

An article drought meaning you do not know what the hell you are going to write about next...

What I suggest if you really can't think about anything to write about in your niche is to take a break from article marketing. Start marketing using other methods for a while (ie. video marketing, craigslist, ebay, blogging etc).

Maybe after you have taken a little break you will be able to jump back into the article marketing game and begin to write effectively and efficiently again!

OR if you are really set on article marketing this is my suggestion:

If you are really set on article marketing and you really feel like you ran out of good ideas my suggestion to you is to forget your keyword research for a second... yes that's right.

Take out a piece of paper and write your niche in the center of it and circle it. Then write key topics about your niche around the paper and connect them to your niche. Then make sub-topics within each subject connect them to each of your subjects and so on and so on.

Once you have a big cluster of a bunch of subjects and sub-topics within your niche on a piece of paper I'm sure you will be able to come up with some new ideas for some articles.

After you know what you are going to be writing about then fit in your keywords, and start writing some articles.

Article marketing can be very frustrating don't give up - it will be worth it in the end.

Try mindmapping too... It can give you tons of ideas for articles.

That's similar to what I used to do when I ran out of ideas.

    Thanks for sharing!

    Hi

I've got the opposite problem - too many ideas and can't always decide where to start.

I simply choose one and get writing - the more you write the more ideas you get! Oh what a problem to have :-)

Well make a plan, for how and when you are going to write your articles and then take action .

The more the better... it's good to set goals like maybe write 1 a day or write 40 in a month... but there is never a good reason when you are a successful article marketer to stop writing. Once you submit your first 100 articles you will really be able to see the benefits.

        Hi Great to set goals

but don't put them too low, 1 article a day is just not enough to get decent results

It remind me of Jeff Johsnon talking about when he started and he fixed the goal to publish 5,000 of page and collect 5,000 keywords a day

If you want to see if it work for you, better faster than discover in 2 months that you don't target the right keywords, and you don't get enough traffic, etc....

Also the way you write make a huge difference, you need to write articles around keywords that get decent traffic

        All the best
