Tonight I didn't get drunk, I wrote 3 articles instead!

Decided not to go out tonight, and take some action instead. I got four finely written 400 word articles aimed at some well researched keywords, wow nearly feels better than being drunk... and no hangover!

Only took me just over an hour too.

I have this really cool app I installed for my Mac after experimenting with a few called MenuBar Countdown. I set 'sprints' of 10 minutes and had a goal to finish 200 words in each sprint. Just over an hour later I got done (yes I was a little late)...



Now just have to do this every night for the next 2 years and I will be an 'overnight success' when I'm making the big bucks :rolleyes:

    Dude, forget about 2 years. If you do this properly, you can be making money in 6 weeks, often sooner.

        If I can build a site that brings in $500 a month in 6 weeks or less, and I can do this repeatedly, over and over and over, that to me is "serious cash".

        Were probably all going the same place, just different directions.

          Sure thats my strategy... something like 20-50 sites by June 2012 making $20,000 a month in total.. Still working on site number 1 though, on my way but not quite to $500/month!

    I heard once that if you can't pickup chicks, you're by definition sterile. I can't for the life of me get going with IM, so I don't know what that makes me? Effectively IM sterile, perhaps.. I'm following too many models I think, that's my problem not the alcohol lol

    How long have you really stuck to *one* thing for? I think too many people expect too much too soon. No thanks of course to so called gurus selling overnight riches.. business doesn't work like that.

      i've looked into adsense, click bank, amazon, article writing, etc etc the list goes on.. I even invested in done a few hybrid model trainings. I just can't stick to one thing. Sort of like a shotgun approach, just can't set my sight on one thing.

    I think that is part of the process for a lot of people Skoh, but sooner or later you just have to stick to one thing for a while.

    I think a lot of IM folks are looking for 'fun' stuff to do, and often fun things are new things. But nothing in life comes easy. You just have to sit down and do it.

    Have you seen www.challenge.co (I have no affiliation)? I think that is a good course that goes through fundamentals. But you won't do it quickly, it will take months! But if you do the whole thing I'm sure you'll come out of it with a much better understanding of your next steps.

    It's definitely a journey.

      See I just signed up for another challenge, instead of accomplishing my own. Lol I have a plethora of information, my brain is completely drenched in it. I just need to TAKE ACTION lol . .congrats on your success tonight, sounds like i need to put the internet down for a few days to clear my thoughts.

    Drinking can be great fun but it really can deter you from your success. It's a downer and hard to pick up where you left off.

      Sounds like a plan. I'm sure you'll be able to accelerate that somehow.

      That software sounds like a good idea. Timed sprints.

      Maybe I'll give that a try.

      Haven't tried it yet. My A.D.D. gets in the way ;-)
