I'm new to autoblogging

Hey everybody, I've been a freelancer for past 4 years and still I'm. After reading lot of books, methods & everything, I'm stuck what to start with.

Finally, I picked a niche and planning to run a autoblog on it. Yes, I'm planning to start my IM from here & I'm working on the setup. Now I'd like to know about the networks similar to Adsense that has good payouts for CPC, CPM & so on. I don't wanna risk my adsense account with autoblog.

HELP ME

Ok, I'll help you - stay away from autoblogging. Here's why:

    a) It's essentially a theft. I don't care if someone includes my website as a source, I would never agree that someone simply copied my work.

    b) All autoblogging does is going through RSS feeds and sucking everything it needs. If everyone did it, who would actually produce anything? Autoblogging is just parasiting on the work of others.

      a) Have to disagree with this sweeping statement. RSS stands for 'Really Simple Syndication'. They clue is in the word - 'syndication'. If someone scrapes your site directly and republishes YOUR content against your wishes, then yes, it's copyright violation. You have a range of options for dealing with this including plugins to stop them, DCMA notices etc.

      b) Modern autoblogging systems don't need RSS feeds. In fact, publishing a straight copy of a feed is a waste of time and server resources because search engines really aren't impressed with duplicate content nowadays.

    Thanks for the reply, Vogin

In that case, what would you suggest for me? My niche is very critical and don't have much competition for the keywords I picked. Say, 2K global searches in a month. So, please suggest me things accordingly..

If you don't want to produce content yourself (which isn't that hard - 30 Day Challenge, Module2, Day3), outsource it on sites like iFreelance.com.

You may also consider putting together a free giveaway product and build a customer list. Once someone opts-in, he practically agrees to listen to you and more importanly, to your offers.

Don't give me wrong, I enjoy technical progress and I automate what I can - nevertheless, autoblogging simple isn't able to create any content.

People who do (or pay for it and then use it) are the winners.

        .
I'm afraid you may be a little behind the times.

This was created by an autoblogging plugin.

Are you bored with being fat? Did the vacations put you over the edge and you are feeling lethargic and exhausted? Do you want to get rid of the pounds but you are not sure where to start? It can be tricky enough to lose some weight when you have plans to stick to, but when you have no idea where to begin it can be even more tough. You want it gone fast, and you would like it lost for ever. When you do make a decision to shed weight, it can seem just like it takes forever to lose it. When you look at dieting tablets and weight management additions all of them guarantee that you'll shed pounds quickly and never be hungry. Is that truly possible? The honest answer to this question is : it depends.[SNIP]

It's probably as good as anything you'd pay a couple of bucks for on Digital Point.

I agree with snapcontent. Keep it original! Besides shouldn't be that difficult to rank for your keywords with only 2000 global searches.

    Blessings!

@ snap: Thanks for your valuable input

@ sixplus: Yes hopefully. But, with less competition can I make profits?

@ vogin: I don't have enough funds to outsource things nor sound knowledge to write more about it and that's the very reason I thought to automate the blog

    umm.. confused & stuck

If you don't have the knowledge, gain it. Go through The 30 Day Challenge, especially Module2, they will tell you how to do it - don't worry, it's completely free.

The problem with autoblogging is it has a really bad rep and in many cases with good reason, especially the blackhat style autoblogging where blogs are churned out with useless content like yahoo answers etc.

I really should know as I have been autoblogging for about 5 years, back when the mainstream marketers didn't know it existed. Then it was very BH and I wouldn't recommend anyone try those methods now as your blogs lifespan is very short and as it involved scraping rss feeds of sites which don't allow republication of their content it was actually against the law let alone anything else.

If you build autoblogs with the same care and attention you would build blogs there is nothing wrong with it. As long as you use content you are allowed to republish like Articlesbase and keep the author links intact then you are not stealing in fact you are doing them a favor because you are giving them backlinks. I specifically use AB for article marketing because I know the articles will get republished and it benefits my sites.

One caveat here re article directories. Be careful when autoblogging with ezinearticles as they have very specific rules about what you can use in their TOS and have several autoblogging friends that have received cease and desist letters as well as being instructed to remove all their content. They specify quite clearly that you are only allowed 25 articles per year per domain, which is obviously not enough for an autoblog.

The last thing I would say here is use tools that will mix content, ie create posts with content from different sources. This works like gangbusters for me. Avoid yahoo answers content on its own as this is an instant red flag if you get visited by a google human and the sites look awful no matter how nice your theme is.

So if you want to autoblog go for it but do it the right way and help start giving us autobloggers a better name!

We're talking about autoblogging, not article submission.
