Viral URL.
Hi Warriors. Not to sure if this is the right place to post this, I apologise
in advance if it is.
Is anyone else getting bombarded with rubish from Viral Url? Everday my e'mail
gets hammered with crap, "your new best friend reccomends... Hello my name is Gillian,
and I want to be your best friend, just go look at this (link) to be my best freind...
Hi I've got more money than I know what to do with, go here and you will have too....
You get the idea it drives me mad. How in the blue moon do I get my e'mail address taken off
Viral Urls list??? I have no idea who or what I subscribed to for them to get their
sticky hand on it but I want it taken off.
Thanks Mick.

    Hi...

I am having same feelings just like you.

    The worst case is that

    - Most of unsubscribe links ask me to complete CPALead Survey to get unsubscribed (and thereby making money for those spammers)
    - Few unsubscribed links even contain Trojans. I got warnings from AVG many times.

I feel that is is heavily misused and they don't have proper vigilance to stop abuse.

It can not be just you and me who are sick to the back teeth with this site. I feel people are actually paying money to send us spam e'mails, don't know if I'm right or wrong but I would like to know how to get my e'mail address of their site

The only way to stop viralurl spam is to delete your account or pay to upgrade it. I would not pay anything after such spam without warning, so I simply deleted my account (you can't even get a direct link for that, you have to go through hoops to get there)

    just use bit.ly

    It's NOT spam.

YOU joined the site. YOU agreed to receive the emails.

Spam it NOT email that you don't like.

    Garrie

PS There are some sites that don't verify accounts. I had an issue with one last week. However, viral URL makes you verify the account and email addresses. Thats the only way to get added to there lists.

It is possible that the emails are not from ViralURL and there is a spammer that got a free ViralURL account and then cloaks his links in the spam!

You can tell the difference by...

    a) Is the email send by member(at)viralurl.com and / or does the email end with our mailing address in Australia and the ID: ####/#### section? Then it is a member to member message and you can opt-out by deleting your account of upgrading to Silver, Platinum or Elite membership.

    b) Does the email contain a ViralURL cloaked link, but it is not from member(at)viralurl.com and does not have our mailing address in Australia and the ID: ####/#### section at the end of it? Then it's a real spammer sending email outside of ViralURL.

In the last case we appreciate your help to shut down (suspending) that spammer account by reporting the spam message at: Reply to Frank Bauer

All we need is a copy of that spam message including the cloaked link. With the cloaked link we can identify the spammers ViralURL account and then suspend it as spamming is against the ViralURL terms & agreement.

You may also contact us if you are simply not sure if it's spam or not. Just quote the complete email you received and our staff can easily tell and take the appropriate action.

      There ya go...

If you think you havent created a ViralURL account,
it sounds like someone is spamming you, claiming to come from ViralURL and not ViralURL (the site) itself.

Frank & Colin (from ViralURL) are great guys,
use their support desk if you have any troubles or suspect a spammer...

as you can see Franks on the ball, ready to help out as much as he can.

Don't open those emails. Put them in the garbage (spam) folder.
    Never answer those emails.
