Where To Find Affiliates

Hey gang!

Where are the best places are to recruit affiliates for a newly-released product?

I'm using Rapid Action Profits, which rocks (thanks, Sid Hale!), which pays affiliate commissions instantly. I know I could do ClickBank, and I might, but there is an extra draw for affiliates who know they can get paid immediately and not have to wait for the CB cycle to lapse.

I'll start with some of my ideas, then I'd love to see some more contributions so we end up with a great list for fellow RAP members to use.

Here's some to start:

- RAP Bank, obviously (rapbank.com)
- RAP Mall (rapmall.com)
- Warrior Forum - Joint Venture sub-forum (warriorforum.com)
- JV Notify Pro forums - jvnotifypro.com/community/
- any IM-based lists you have

Has anyone tried posting on ABestWeb.com? They charge $75 for a posting in the Affiliate Recruiting forum. It seems like the posts get decent traffic, though.

What other places are good to announce your affiliate program?

    Just a word of caution...

Do you have the relevant metrics for your newly released
product (such as conversion rates, etc. )?

Have you tested your sales process on your own traffic?

Before you go recruiting affiliates for your product you need
to make sure that it converts well.

If you miss this step out, you could churn and burn your
relationship with affiliates very quickly if you find the offer
    doesn't convert well.

    Dedicated to your success,

True, Shaun, that affiliates love metrics. And lots of other things, like pre-made sales letters, pre-made graphics and banner ads of various standard sizes, etc. Good point.

But back to my original question...where are good places to recruit them.

Look at all the JV blogs of product launches. Generally, a list of top affiliates are posted for everyone to see along with any bonuses they may have earned. Yeah, of the bigger guys always show up on these but I have seen lists that go 100 affiliates deep so you should be able to come up with a ton of affiliates that can drive traffic to your new product.

Also, and I haven't tried this yet, but you could join top internet marketing membership sites and try to push your product to affiliates there. Again, I have not tried this yet but you could give it a shot.

        Best of luck,
