I am a newbie seeking advice and contacts please.

Hi Warriors,

My name is Michael Duturbure and I recently became a distributor for an Australian superfood beverage called Kakadu Juice.

I am a student at Macleay College here in Sydney Australia and have no real technological skills but see the opportunity to market this product as it is in the early days and in the intro phase in Europe, USA and soon to be Asia.

I am studying an advanced diploma of business -marketing but they don't teach us internet marketing skills!

My story...

For the last 3 years I had been physically disabled. I worked 15 years in the demanding hospitality industry and my body had a structural collapse that ended with a dislocated jaw and twisted inside head, from muscle spasm, combined with my hips severely rotated, back problems, somatic symptoms and I had to relearn how to walk.

I still have problems with my ribs/neck which impeeds my brain function...I know it sounds unbelievable but hey ....things happen. I am not bitter about it I just keep going as much as I can when I can.

I came across Kakadu juice while researching another idea I was pondering. I tried the product and it really helped with my symptoms and energy. It helped me get back to school this year after 3 years completely incapacitated.

I am looking to get unique articles written( I have content), help setting up a website if needed, setting up a killer blog properly, linking it all through backlinks, generating massive traffic, getting a great sales copy, establishing a viral campaign to raise money for charity so I can build a quick downline, establish an affiliate situation and anything else you can think of that my inexperienced brain can't.

Do you think you can help me out or lead me to good reliable people in the warrior forum to get things done properly whom may be sympathetic to my cause?

Michael Duturbure

Tucker Food Services
Ps.. If it is a better situation for you I would love to be mentored by you...I will pay to put you in my downline and we can make money together...

    Hi Michael,

Spend time reading all the valuable information that is available for free on Warrior Forum.

You will find the answer to a lot of your questions - eventually. It takes time and work to learn all the stuff that you will need.

Looking back to when I started I am amazed at the things that I can do now that I thought were beyond my capabilities. I have learned a little html so I can build and maintain a simple website, install a blog, create graphics, promote the website for traffic etc, etc,. Most of which I have learned from reading stuff on this forum - and without spending too much on ebooks or courses.

If you have any questions about a specific topic, post a question in the relevent forum on here - there is always someone willing to help.

Do remember that (most) people on this forum are also running a business and 'time is money'

    Good Luck

        Hi,

If it you think it will be the better option and you have the funds to pay for it, then certainly outsourcing is an option.

Have a look on the Warriors for Hire section and you should find someone who can do most of the things you are looking for.

Look for a lot of good reviews from Warriors that have been members for a while. Choose wisely.

        Good Luck with your project.

        Regards

        Karen

Michael, you might want to edit your original post and remove the PS...

Many might see that as an attempt to promote your program, a no-no on this forum.

Michael you should listen to Karen, she's giving great ideas and I agree with what she's saying.

The best way of learning is by reading and applying it yourself. I know that's how I've learned everything I know.

Before you go on and start to outsource, you gotta be sure of your entire IM plan.

Because each freelancer is only doing his/her specific task, and does not have access to the big picture.

If you are a newbie, then you really need to do some serious reading up, or even get a coach.

This way, you won't be throwing away precious cash at random freelancers when you can't put all the pieces together.

    Hope this helps!

  • Do you already have a domain name? If not, I recommend you register a domain name with GoDaddy; all my websites are hosted with GoDaddy and up to now they've given me great customer service. Secondly I recommend you set up a blog with wordpress – they have high quality free of charge templates, plugins, widgets etc.
    Good Luck with your project

I do have a domain name. I am about to create my website. My host is hostgator.com

I have just started my first blog telling my real story of how I found the product, a testimonial of sorts and subtle sales pitch. I will be creating an informational blog about Australia's native foods. I am just working within my limitations as I learn.

As it is my first website and it is a promotional marketing concept. I need to create an online marketing plan. This is something new for me.

I would love to hear from someone that would be willing to criticize my blog so far and recommend the best widgets to add to it.

I require a good opt-in, some inf on how to add my product to clickbank and set up affiliates for my blog amongst other things

Welcome to the forum dude. Take it easy. You don't have to start looking for JV partners immediately you join a forum made up of total strangers.

    You need credibility first okay?

Just a little word of advice about outsourcing.

Yes, it's boring to do stuff you don't like. I get that!

Yes, it's faster than doing it yourself when you don't know how. I get that, too!

But there's something you need to understand: in order to properly instruct and supervise outsourcers, and know if you're being ripped off or have just found a gem of an outsourcer, you need to understand the different aspects of running a business.

Furthermore, you can improve your business much more when you're actually learning what works as you do it. And you won't risk losing money from paying people but not getting a return on investment.

Just something to keep in mind!

    Best of luck!

Welcome, Michael! What an inspiring story! I was going to suggest that you create a post about it on your site, but I see you've already done it

As some of the other posters have said, there is alot of great information and some really great people here on WF. Take time to learn things (whether it's here or anywhere else) slowly, so that you know you're doing everything right. Trust me, it can feel like information overload if you try to soak in everything at once!

As far as outsourcing goes, that's a decision only you can make. Take an honest look at your skills - what are you good at? What are you not so good at? What do you like to do? What do you hate to do? If you hate doing something, or you're just not very skilled at something, you may want to outsource it to a professional that can handle it for you.

    Hi Michael...

I read your post and well..good on ya for trying...

I am also new here on this forum and am in the process of launching my first product...Saying that though I have a lot of experience with business in general...

Listen there is guy called Brett McFall who lives on the Gold Coast..Brett sent me abook a while ago free of charge..AS my brother met him or something like that..He basically is a copywriter who turned his talents to the net..

He send me an email a few weeks ago and to be honest he seemed like a good guy..(hard to say form an email). Check out his site and see if you can get a copy of his book..You probably could just ring him and ask personally..

There is good stuff in his book..

The thing is mate, as with most things people are reluctant to move ahead for one reason or another..I seriously believe that you can do what you need just go ahead and do it..One thing that I know is that for every advice you get free 9 out of 10 will complicate it to point where you think that it is negative or you become reluctant yourself. Now I am not saying that people do this with intent..What I read on this forum is a lot of good stuff obviously like minded people..The thing is though the biggest battle is taking a jump..In management there are 3 rules..Indecision is the far worse then a wrong decision..we all like the correct decision but that seldom happens with something new...

So with that said..I would give it a go yourself then ask for feedback form your peers..The best advice is free..but you must know what it is specially you are asking or you can led astray to easy..It sounds like you are personally involved with this product so simply by documenting what ever it is you will come across as being honest and reliable..I wouldn't worry about sales script to start with..just get your message out..technical things can easily be outsourced..

As for the kinesthetic thing, this is not a problem just move a bit when you are thinking about things..I do it all the time..

    Merlin.

      Michael,

There are two very reputable MLM related marketers online.

      1) Mike Dillard and his "Magnetic Sponsoring" program
      and
      2) James Grandstaff and his "Downline Secrets" program

It would be helpful to do a search engine request for both of these online marketers for some information on how to market a network marketing product.

If anything, get on their email lists for some freebie advice for internet marketing of products.

      • Loving all the tips guys....I really appreciate all the time you guys are sparing to answer me...

I will check through the responses suggested so far and update which direction I will go.

Do material products sell well as MLM products on clickbank?
