Got 30 Blogs running on my babyhostgator account want to start building more auto blogs help pls..

Hi guys,
I already have 30 blogs running on my baby hostgator account and i`m wanting to build more auto blogs the next few months.

Should i now open another hosting account with another provider to host these new auto blogs and who do you guys recommend or should i just upgrade my baby account to the big reseller account with the 32 different IP address`s but i belive this account is about $100 pm ?

I am also alittle confused as to if i open a new hosting account will my new auto blogs have a different ip address than my blogs on the baby hostgator account ?

Cheers Jim

Upgrade to a hostgator VPS and just buy more IP's. They are 2$ a pop.

You have to get a level 4 or above for free cpanel though. This is the best route..

      Hi Gary,
Can you advise me more i really dont understand what VPS really means i have just had a look and .. what is it if it doenst come with cpanel unless i buy the 65$ level 4 package ?

If i took out the level one and say 4 ip address`s for 21$ that would really be great for me to start with but without cpanel how do i add a new wp blog ? where is `fantastico` ?? lol i`m sorry to seem stupid but without cpanel i really have no idea ??

      Thanks so much.. Jim

If you need different IP's then why not go with a service that let you host unlimted sites over X IP's? Hostgator has a sister company that let's you do exactly that! I don't think we are allowed to promote other hosting companies here so I cannot name them but do some searching around and you shall find...

This isn't a good idea for hosting money sites.

I actually dont advise going with anything less than the level 4 personally. If you look at the level one your getting the same specs as the aluminum reseller package so it defeats the purpose.

If you want to go with anything under the level 4 you would have to pay a monthly fee for Cpanel.

I also wouldn't want to have anything without fantastico. I have never installed a WP blog manually..

The reason I recommend going the Hostgator VPS route is because of the support and the fact that you are in total control. Your not gonna get that with any seo hosting companies besides seohost.com with is a part of hostgator.

The thing about them though is you don't get to register private nameservers for each of your ip's so it's a total waste of having them as far as seo value is concerned. With the VPA you can do pretty much anything you like..

    Gary,
I`m not yet making a full time living online i am at the point where the mortage and bills are paid by my online work, I have 2 auto blogs which i started about 2 months ago both are good to there word and pull in $1/2 per day.

So i want to ramp up these auto blogs to get more income i really dont have a plan just build more and see how i go.

I am worried about google and want to start off protecting my blogs from the off with different ip address`s but really $64 per month for the hosting is quite expensive for me i mean if it wasnt for the fact these are going to be auto blogs i would just open a hosting account like my baby hostgator account which i host 30 blogs on without problems already.

Do you really think at this stage i need this level 4 VPS account ? Is there a cheaper way of doing this ?

    Cheers Jim

If money's tight just get another cheap account with another provider. It's a good idea to spread your sites over a few hosts, in case one goes down.

That's another good option as well. I'm just not that organized with my autoblogs so I like to have them all in one place..

There are cheaper ways but from my experience cheaper is definitely not better, especially h=when your talking about hosting for your money sites.

Your not gonna get reliable seo-hosting anywhere to be honest. Not for your money sites anyway. I have tried all of them and your gonna face downtime here and there with them. Not a problem for hosting pumper blogs/backlink networks. But for hosting money sites it's not recommended.

You could of course contact hostgator support and ask them if there is any way for you to pay for cpanel on the level one account.

I also just noticed that you can get cpanel for an extra 10$ on the level 3 with would come up to 50$ a month with 2 ip's. You can then upgrade from there as your income grows..

IMO, going for a VPS plan with Hostgator will be a good choice.
You can run s many sites/blogs as you like and you'll get like 32 Dedicated IPs.

If you run too many WP blogs on ANY shared host, and any of them get popular (or traffic even spikes) they'll shut you off without a second thought. Wordpress, great though it is, uses a LOT of RAM and CPU.

Spread your blogs over lots of cheapie host - hostmonster, hostgator etc. They only cost a few bucks a month, and you get fresh IPs.

The advice about buying new IPs at $2 a pop is slightly iffy because they will usually be on the same 'C' slot, which isn't much good for SEO purposes.

You can actually get them on different blocks with hostgator if you contact them about it..

Jim, IMHO, you have got the cart W-A-Y before the horses!!!!!

You stated that you are only making $1.00 to $2.00 per day and you are concerned about IP addresses?

      You've lost me...

You've launched 30 blogs and you're on a mission to launch even more but you have yet to make your first blog profitable?!?!

Do you realize how many IMers have and are traveling down that well traveled dusty road that ends up with them eventually dumping domain names en mass?

They somehow think and/or reason by logical deduction that launching a boatload of websites or blogs, which they hope will each make a few dollars a day is going to automatically bring in a great income?

And this statement is downright scary...

He who fails to plan; plans to fail... COPY... Captain Kirk? Please confirm, sir...

If I were you, I'd put the breaks on your expansion dreams and focus on learning how to get your first site making REAL money. Once you pass that very crucial milestone, RINSE and REPEAT!

With thirty blogs, your income, IMHO should be at a bare bones MINIMUM of $3000.00 per month.

Otherwise, you are just like the builder who keeps building great looking subdivisions BUT never sells a single solitary house. He may rent a few rooms here and there to keep a little cash flow coming in but at some point, his business model, which was not sustainable in the first place, is going to come crashing down.

Ha ha did you know my name is `James Kirk` ?? No really it is lol but the middle name is oliver not Tiberius !

You have got me wrong i make a fair income from my 30 blogs this month will be around $850 i`m not 100% what the exchange is of US dollar i`m hoping the month end will be closer to $1500 which i got last month but my adsense is way down for some reason !

And about 12 of these blogs are the ones i first started IM with and are actually rubbish i have taken adsense off them now and just keep them as i have a few plugins running off them i may or may not renew the domains.

So with the 17 blogs remaining pulling in $1500 i`d say i was on course for Crew Chiefs minimum !!

Nope last month i set two quick auto blogs up my first two ! and they are both making aabout $1.50 per day.

The more i look into it the more it seems that auto blogs are the dark secret here i`ve been so busy building sites with top class original content busting a gut and burning my self out trying to rank for competitive keywords that i just need a break, 2 blogs on auto $60 per month already ?? sounds like a good idea to build ALOT more thats why i am finding out about different ip address and hosting.

Mate i never plan to fail even made a list this morning number two was start new auto blog lol.

Thanks anyway Crew Chief i always enjoy your posts by the way !

          I stand corrected Captain Kirk!!!

Oh, and by the way, when I saw your name, you know I couldn't resist.

At any rate, I totally misread a part of your post were it first appeared as though you were only earning around $1.00 to $2.00 per blog.

Of course I must have been reading as WARP speed...

Good to see that you have things on track.

As far as the IP issue is concerned, the only time you may have any issues is if you were inter-linking the sites that are on the same hosting accounts to each other.

Other than that, sounds to me like you are in the Rinse and Repeat mode and that's a great place to be in IM.

Hostgator L4 VPS with 32 IP's is a nice option for any IM. If you consider about budget, buy a shared one from bluehost.
