I need autoresponder email help please

I want to send email to a purchased list but Aweber and Icontact threaten to close your account if you try to do this. Is there a service which doesn't mind or care if clients used purchased lists? I need one which has reliable deliverablility.

I also have php autoresponder software on my server but it usually can't deliver to msn accounts, does anyone know where I can get software which delivers with the same reliability as Aweber?

Thanks in advance guys.

The coversion rate on a paid list will be terribly low. I would just move on!

I think you're going to have a hard time (as in 'can't be done') trying to find any reputable autoresponder company that would let you do a mass mailing to purchased lists.

Autoresponder companies (the good ones) protect their deliverability rating in a big way. One of the quickest ways to see deliverability head straight to the toilet would be to start allowing users to send offers to purchased lists.

This is why you will see so much information on how important it is to build your own targeted lists, build your credibility, etc...

Using purchased lists accomplishes just the opposite effect.

I'm going with Deepak and Brian on this one. Build your OWN targeted list that loves you and your products...it makes life much easier and more fun! Treat them like gold and deliver great value. It will be worth it!

Actually there is an autoresponder designed specifically for this. Try checking out Fire Reply This is NOT an affiliate link

You have the answer to the first part of your question - don't bother with a purchased list. I'll answer the second part.

The problem with your PHP Autoresponder is not the code, and you won't fix it by installing a different or better autoresponder. MSN (and probably a number of other e-mail providers) probably has your servers IP address or subnet in an e-mail blacklist. This happens when you try running your own autoresponder on shared hosting.

There have been dozens of threads here about running your own autoresponder, and all of them come to the same conclusion - bad idea! Your observation about your MSN delivery problems just illustrates that further.
