Hey
Im Going to Get A Hosting account With Hostgator and im wondering Should i get it now And Make The Wordpress Blog and Site up As i Go along or Make it then buy Hosting

Also Should i go for the hatchling Plan or the baby Plan (I dont know what it means by Single Domain(One Site?) ) Since i Have Domains from GoDaddy. So could i use them?

Do they mean domain as ONE website? not actual .com domain?
Im seriously confused

I'd go with the baby plan as it gives you some room for growth, unlimited domain addons.
Go to go daddy and manage your account, find the name servers (dns) and change the two to NS1.HOSTGATOR.COM and NS2.HOSTGATOR.COM. In your cpanel go to add on domain and whatever your domain from go daddy add it.

You need to have hosting before building a wordpress blog from your cpanel.

You have got to start somewhere... Definitely get the plan that has unlimited domains, if you can afford it...

And seriously, most hosting is dirt cheap, so it should not be a big problem for you...

    Hi,

There are tons of video tutorials that will show you how to set your nameservers.

Do a search on Google to find a good one.

In your GD account, bring up your domain name and check the box next to it and click on set nameserver on the menu bar across the top. Change the two bits on the form that comes up to the NS that were in your welcome email when you signed up to HG.

Click OK. That bit is done now. Next you go to your cpanel on HG and add the domain name.

Once that is done you can install Wordpress on that domain using Fantastico.

    Good Luck

    Karen

p.s. If you are anywhere near Longford I could actually show you...

On another note... How many brownie points would you earn with mom and dad if you were able to show them how to create multiple streams of income? Put your parents to work for you, training them as you go.

Hey, it was just a thought
