Is it necessary to do that??!!!

I would like to high light this point and love to see your valuable comments:- for any product I came across the vendor telling some lies such, this product only valid for short time and it will end after 5 days , some of them place on promotion page time count down watch surprisingly I check it out after two months and found it still there and the same words in it,also some indicate this offer will be offered for 250 people only and when u go through the search you'll find it in hands of thousands of affiliate, Some of them go further and tell you this price will go up after some time but when try to leave the pop up prompt .. hey stop there is one this to say then he drop 10 bucks ....etc .... and so on.
Knowing that this part of marketing tactics but any one think this method still working ? or is the vendor need to lie to get his product sold??
Furthermore , many vendors tell the prospect buyers he revealed his secret to help the poor guys whom tricked by GURUS is that necessary to till such things???????
In so may promotion videos I came across I found the introduction and promoting letters more impressive than the product itself.... may be because it's done by professional marketing company .
Nevertheless, I believe if the vendor did not stick to lies he will be more trust worthy and many of the customers could buy his product without hesitating but when he start talking about those things mentioned above he definitely lose some of his credibility.... is there any one agree with me on above???
