My only suggestion to you right now is first spend some quality time on learning and improving a particular Internet Marketing skill. There are several ways to earn reliable income in IM. The following are some of the long term and reliable methods:

1) Google Adsense Websites

2) CPA (Cost Per Action) Marketing

3) Affiliate Marketing

4) Providing services to other people like content creation, forum posting, blog posting, video creation, link building, website graphics creation, etc.

5) Website Flipping (Business Creating and Selling Websites for Quick Profits)

6) Product Creation

These are prominent methods and you need to first learn the ins and outs of any one of the above methods. Just focus on one method at any given time and work on it for at least next 6 months or 1 year without looking at other methods.

If you keep working on one method for longer period of time then I am sure you will be able to earn much much more than your current day job salary. This is the truth.

Meaning... Build a list of subscribers by capturing their names and email addresses.

So d first step go and found out what is the info product that can sell to them. You want a clue: Where ppl luv to do but they require certain info to be excellent! So sell the secret!

Ronnie- to test the waters, I suggest you open a free blog at blogger.com, and make a post everyday for a month.

I say to make a post every day for a month - because this will help you see how much time is involved in setting up a site, updating a site, finding content, and the amount of dedication your going to need. If you run out of content within that month, take a look at the niche you picked and decide how you can improve it.

Then there are the types of sites and content you can go into. Do you want to open a blog, run a forum, do video blogging on youtube, sale stuff through amazon, sell stuff through ebay.

If you want a simple and easy thing to do - hit the garage sales at the end of the month, buy the brand name childrens clothes and resale them on ebay. My wife bought a brand name jacket and a garage sale for $3 and sold it on ebay for $18.

A lady I know bought a ring at a garage sale for like $5, and sold it on ebay for around $1,500. The person at the garage sale did not know what they were selling.

The other day I ran into a guy at the post office that customizes golf hats and sales them through amazon.

There are people that makes thousands every month through the youtube partner program.

Your only limited by the amount of time you want to put into the project, and what you can come up with.

It really depends on what you like to do, how much time you want to invest and your long term plans.

Ebay and others - is good for starting by selling stuff around the house or from other people that don't know the value of stuff. Previously mentioned garage sales. If you like the find and item buy low sell high strategy than this is for you.

Affiliate Marketing - More for the long term, where you build a relationship with people who subscribe to your list. Previously mentioned squeeze page, list building and email marketing. However, this can also be done via web 2.0 sites such as blogger that has an optin box.

CPA is good if done right. Provides steady progressive income when used with your list.

If your technical or have skills with website development, wordpress, html, writing for articles, or other services people here are asking for.

Once you find what you like, know how much time you'll invest each week, it will become clear what you'll focus on.

In that case, bum marketing and article marketing is probably the best and some video marketing too. Get yourself a .info domain, find some products you think you can write passionately about and start marketing them on different article and web 2.0 sites like ezinearticles, articledashboard, goarticles, and others.

Eventually you will want to learn seo skills, but if you are really on ground zero, then just doing articles for quick traffic is ok to begin with. Later though, develop a site on properties that you own outright and can't be taken away by a mod.

Know your desperate market, find the solution, drive traffic(bum marketing to start),

And, you will need a lot of persistence and determination

You can also try trade forex or playing real money poker online

I lurked these forums for quite a bit daydreaming on possibilities and plans
I wrote up ideas, made plans and stratagies. Explored things back to front.
Basic blogging seems like a good place to start. I heard (from a few vet warriors) that building a few blogs putting content on them for a few months, keep the ones that make you the most off of adsense (affiliate marketing, cpa, ect.) and auction of the rest. The idea is that every time you get better and better at making the site and utilizing all your tools.

But the ideas are endless, i am new myself so i would pay close attention to the vets ;] good luck to ya brother.

OH also, when you find something your going to do...stick with it. Don't try to jump from thing to thing, there is no profit on that (believe me through first hand experience)...with this forums it is so easy to sign up for an account on every site they put down....

If you want to earn slow and steady and free then try SEO, if you need to do things fast then go for ppc. Affiliate marketing is best for you as you are new and you should start with clickbank.

I agree w/ BloggerDeen in that once you discover the product or service you want to promote that going with some affiliate marketing (aka clickbank) would be a good start.
Just make sure you take the necessary precautions in protecting your digital work! You don't want to just get going and then find pirated copies of your work all over the web.

Find ONE method. Just ONE. This post and it's replies ALONE comprises more knowledge than you will get from HOURS of searching anywhere else. Realize early that THIS is the power of WarriorForum.
Stick with ONE method, because you can easily get side tracked into trying "thing after thing" and spinning your wheels. Stick with almost ANY one method, and you will start to see results if you are diligent.

If you don't have your own product:
Blog + Affiliate Marketing + Adsense is a pretty typical starter combo. Build blog, drop links while writing product reviews that point your visitor to buy the product. Rinse/Repeat.
SEO : Pay Attention to your tags/keywords on your page (write about what the page is ABOUT, without being overly spammy. Don't get too hyper-focused on meta tags and finer points of SEO if you are completely new. The very basics of SEO? Write good text that is ABOUT that THING, and it will typically do ok. Fine-tune your SEO, and it will start to do better.

Forum Links: Look for forums that are about the product/thing your blog is about, and become a contributing member of that forum. When you are able to, leave a simple link in your sig-line. Let's talk about what you shouldn't do, for a change. Don't pick up multiple WSOs or IM courses promising overnight riches, this should be a cardinal rule for all newbies.

If you're truly brand new to this, the best thing you can do is hang around here for a while and learn as much as you can for several weeks to pick up some ideas about what you can do in internet marketing.

I started a few months ago with Internet Marketing and I have to tell you that there many possibilities out there which sound pretty good. Like most of the posts already mentioned, try to find out what you are interested the most and work on it. I will focus on Mobile Marketing because this is even bigger as the internet.

For newbies and beginners, I would recommend the website of Chris Farrell (see signature) because he teaches you step-by-step with plenty of FREE video tutorials how to start with IM. You won't get an ebook where you have to read. He provides everything on video and it's pretty simple to follow. He gives away so much important and useful stuff for free and he helped me a lot for all my basics. His tutorials will save you plenty of time.

I would absolutely recommend him for newbies and beginners. Maybe some advanced IM as well. Again, he is the man for all the people that are interested in IM and doesn't know where and how to start.

Ronnie, you're asking a really open-ended question here. If you're okay with writing, probably the easiest and fastest way to get started is to write articles and sell them individually, and if you want to earn more you could also write a group of articles on the same niche/topic and sell them as PLR article packs on here.

In addition to that, if you're technically inclined you could offer Wordpress blog set up services and also backlinking, which is a very popular and in-demand service these days.

Try not to get turned away by information overload, your being presented with a lot of options here and it happens to all of us. Just choose a niche you are passionate about. Adsense is a great way to begin IM and provides a nice form of passive income. Choose one type of marketing and stick with it, dont try and do everything at once and spread yourself too thin!

Make a site on a selling niche then do affiliate marketing, try CPA and LeadBot as well.

If you have a stable job and consistent income, I'd suggest taking a long-term approach and build Amazon-based websites, which if constructed properly should generate passive/residual income for you over a long period of time once set up.
