How about getting an E-Junkie or PayPal account under the name of your mother or father?

I'm pretty sure that you need to be 18 to have your OWN account.

    This is easy though.
    1. Go to bank with parents, get a bank account.
    2. Open Paypal account and link that bank account.
    3. Collect money!

I recommend you ask mom or dad to call PayPal (they are usually quick on the phone) and get the details. You will have the flexibility you need for now with PayPal.

Use Clickbank and take your product off their market listings (if you want your product private).

          Otherwise...use PayPal.

These two billing tools are very good as they pay you ON TIME.

You could also use Google Checkout...but that only works in some countries.

DO NOT GET PAYPAL....I recommend 2checkout it costs more, but worth having it because paypal is going down...Tons which like millions of people getting their account frozen, google it and you will see.

As far as you getting an account, your parents should be able to help you out.
You can also google credit processors, but you will need a tax id number and be at least 18.

        Another thing:

Will PayPal Check my age via a bank account I add to the PayPal account? Cos I am using PayPal now, and I kinda said that I was born in 1992. I have a bank account though, and is it possible for me to withdraw my money to that account, without PayPal Knowing that I am only 15? DO keep in mind I live in Singapore, and the only way to withdraw money from PayPal accounts is via Bank Transfer to the local banks.

That's an awesome question. The best thing to do is have your parents (or another relative) set up a second PayPal business account and administrate it for you until you're 18. This might cause them a bit of hassle, just don't have them link it to any of their bank or credit/debit accounts. Get one of those debit cards they have and then you can access your money immediately.

Services paid into PayPal are still available instantly. For now. Goods sold, like on eBay, have a 21-day waiting period. You either have to wait 21 days, or wait until the buyer leaves positive feedback and allows the money to be released. I just went through this on a few old car stereos I listed for sale that came in the trunk of a car I bought at an impound auction. Two of them left their feedback the day the stereos arrived and the $46 and $25 was released. The other one, not so much. In another week that money should become available. It's irritating but they have their rules and we have to play by them.

It would be nice if PayPal or some company could put together a legal, secure, and simple method of setting up online payments for young entrepreneurs. Maybe such a thing exists, I'm just not aware of it. But for now, legal age and trusted family members would be ideal.

So how are you collecting the money for these sevices now?

Whatever you are doing, you may have to stick with it untill you get a little older, unless you have an adult to assist/support you, as has been touched upon in the threads already posted.

Life sucks some times... but you have your life in front of you, so I hope things work out in the short term, but I'm sure that they will in the long term.

      Good Luck and Best Regards,

      Jeff.

PayPal will work fine, they don't have any checks in place to make sure you are 18. Just say you were born in 1992 or something.
Actually they do...if your transaction volume becomes high (like >$1000)...then they request ID, tax information, drivers license, utility bills to prove identification - in compliance with money laundering laws.

They put a temporary restriction on your account until the docs are provided.

Not sure if that happens to everyone...but it did to me...and once I gave them those documents - they gave me back full account privileges!

ALSO, there is talk about them issuing 1099s. If they do, they will have to request social security numbers, at least from people in the US! BTW if you lie about your birthday it can setoff alarms, etc... It's called FRAUD! If they get your SSN or DL, they probably WILL catch it.

Oh, and in the US at least, minors can't sign contracts, etc... so why should a place take all the risk of collecting money for a minor?

I read about all the horror stories about PayPal, and am leaning towards 2checkout now. Does Checkout accept people below 18 years of age?
