Making Money With Facebook?

Hey Warriors,

Does any of you make money with Facebook? I currently have about 5000 FB friends and was wondering what might be the best way to approach them and get them on my list.

Anyone profiting from FB here?

Joe

No, they are back up now. They were briefly down for 5-10 minutes I guess. But I've heard too many people claiming to make a ton of money from FB other than ads. Anyone making money with FB care to share?

Actually it was several hours. I started checking it about 2PM and it wasn't back online till about 5PM.
There were imtermittent moments when it came back up, but then it was down again.

Either way, you can try posting affiliate links a few times a day- especially simple CPA offers like lead gens, zip submits, or email submits.

But if you have a bunch of real friends and family up there, I'd recommend starting a different account and building FB friends up on that one and market on there.

You don't want your real friends and family getting annoyed with all your aff. posts.

You can also start a Facebook fan page or group, get lots of members/fans, and start marketing to them when your page gets big.
I couldn't agree with you more. I started with my real friends but as time goes on, I added 4000 other marketers into the same account. So it's hard for me to heavily promote anything. lol.

      Really....
Btw facebook automatically filters out a lot of 'spammy' posts and CPA offers cause it's done to death by so many spammers.

Don't spam family & friends but spam everyone else?
If it annoys your family/friends then it will annoy everyone else, too, and it ain't going to make you a dime.

Hint hint people who make 3000/mo or more do not make that kind of money from spamming CPA offers and affiliate links.

Actually, it's not spamming if people join your page, and the links are on the topic. And yes there are plenty of people out there making $3,000 per month w/ their fan page and CPA/affiliate links. Some of them put up fan pages, and then just buy fans for them.

Linking highly related CPA offer isn't spamming. Especially if you stick that to the landing page and the left side 'info' box of the fan page. That is not spam, that is related link/offer.

Just getting one thing straight: There are nice and creative ways of making money from CPA/ affiliate offers WITHOUT spamming, and there are people making good money without spamming crap. Sticking a music related CPA offer link on music related fan page is one thing, blatant spamming is another.

I am indirectly getting business via fan page marketing.
I show prospects some awesome fan pages (especially those of their competition) and ask them if they want one

There are loads of ways of making money in there. I have a few acquintances who source a lot of their customers from facebook.

The basic process flow is like this:

-join every last facebook group/fan page in whatever niche you are in
-make loads of contacts in those.... add them as friends. Especially the highly active ones who comment a lot
-create your own group and get them in there. Offer some lucrative freebie, such as the free review copies of upcoming product, free coaching sessions etc
-encourage them to ask you questions and offer free help. Answer all the n00b questions & help them out
-invite them to free webinar, giving some useful and valuable info and preselling your product at the same time
-make a series of webinars.... make q&a sessions at the end of the webinars. people loooove their questions answered live by an expert
-get them into the sales funnel by putting the webinar infos behind an optin form
-compile the frequently asked questions from the webinars and give it away as free product
-presell, upsell, cross sell whatever you wish to them down the road

This is exactly what the coaching, self help, personal improvement, NLP crowd is doing. They hook people up with webinars/freebies, build up a following by being the friendly, easily accessible guy who helps them out, then upsell them coaching sessions and continuity stuff.

People I know make a killing this way NEVER ever spam CPA offers or affiliate links. First they build a trusting relationship with people, position themselves as experts/gurus, then upsell their own products.
