Article Marketing - Which is Better ?

Hello,

Do you think it is better to just submit articles to Ezinearticles or Buzzle only, or submit the same article to Ezinearticles, Goarticles, Buzzle and maybe even Isnare ?

I'm thinking if you build backlinks to one article, wouldn't it be better to have only one source - e.g. Ezinearticles ?

I get most of my traffic from Ezinearticles and Goarticles.com I think those two are the best in my opinion

I only submit my articles to Eza, Go Articles and ArticlesBase.

Ive done a bunch of testing and those are the only 3 I really get traffic from, or can rank high in the SEs.

I always submit to all of those you mention. I then let google do it's thing... there is always an article that is outranking the others after a few days of being published.

I build backlinks to the article that is naturally outranking the others.

  • Hi Ken, Ezine Articles, Articlesbase, and Go Articles are great to submit to. Also I use a great tool called Automatic Article Submitter which submits to a couple hundred sites automatically. However I don't include the 3 sites above into the auto-submission because sometimes the bigger article sites don't like auto-submissions and you don't want to get the accounts above banned.

Hint Hint:Submitting your articles as a blog post on Warriorforum creates HUGE results as well. It's worth paying the $40 bucks or so to be able to post here. Warriorforum is tremendous for SEO. Give it a try if you haven't already.

PS-Better Networker is great as well for SEO.

So I post my original article to my blog, then submit to all the sites above and have all the links point back to my original blog post to create traffic to my blog.

    Hope this helps!

Any questions, feel free to ask.

    Enjoy!

    Lucien

Submitting your articles to as many places as possible has always worked a lot better than submitting it to EZA only.

But one important thing you need to remember is posting the article on your own blog or website. Other article directories should be used to build back links to your website. You shouldn't help other websites build back links.

The objective is to leverage article directories to make your own website rank higher in the search engines and become an authority.

    Hi Lucien,

Thanks for the info. When you say : I post my original article to my blog - do you mean a post on your blog/site or a page you created on your blog ?

Also, submitting articles as a blig post here - isn't that for internet marketing sites and not for sports or other unrelated sites ?

You would post the article on your site first and submit the same article to article directories or submit another article ?

I always post an article on my site first and then rewrite the article to then submit to directories. I submit the article to around 6 or 7 article directories and I also put it on about 10 of my own blog sites. If you are submitting articles for the purpose of building backlinks then the more directories you submit to the more backlinks you will get. If you are concentrating more on submitting them to bring traffic through the article, then you will be best with GoArticles and EzineArticles.

    Thanks Sheryl,

Are you linking from the articles at the directories to your home page only or back to the article on your site (using normal anchor text) ?

I should add that this is an interesting question if you own your own product and have a basic one page sales site. You don't want to add articles there, but I suppose on another site and then point to your sales site.

I think best is to submit to all three just in case. but remember to submit to ezine first before all of them and wait to be approved then submit the others. ezine is the largest article directory and it runs their articles to check for plagiarism and if you submit all articles at once ezine will find the others and disapprove your article.

The difference is really in numbers of backlinks only. This matters more to some people than to others.

"Buzzle" is the one article directory which (like many professional article marketers) I never use, because it's the only one that requires original content.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't "Isnare" an article distribution service, rather than an article directory? Or maybe they own an article directory, too? (Most people do, these days, it seems: why shouldn't they?).

For me, it's better to build all the backlinks to one place only, and that's my own site.

I'm certainly not building them to an article directory - that would ensure that the article directory would always outrank my own site for my own keywords - a strange way to try to build a business.

I use directories to try to get traffic from them (among other things), not to send traffic I'm generating to them. Why would I want to build up their sites instead of my own?!

      That's just nonsense.

I do this all the time, and that isn't what happens, at all.

EZA does not require original content. They never have done. They welcome (and specifically invite) articles which have previously been published elsewhere (as long as the author's name/pen-name is the same, obviously). Like many other professional article marketers, I have about 1,000 articles on EZA and ALL of them had previously been published elsewhere, prior to EZA submission.

It's a good directory that gets ranked, but you will wait about 6 months to
have your FREE article published due to their backlog! You have to pay to
      get it published ASAP.

Just to add in about buzzle: their "resource box" is laughable at best. Most people don't waste their time with them

Just like Alexa said, Buzzle requires original content. I did a little expirement with them awhile back. I tend to get a lot of views with them, but the traffic doesn't seem to float through to my websites as well. If you want to do a quick rewrite and submit to them, it doesn't hurt (if you have the free time). Major downfall - They only accept up to 5 submissions pending at a time, and it can take at least a day or two for articles to be approved. So, I wouldn't put much focus on them. If they lifted that limit, I'd probably rewrite a lot more and submit to them.

I prefer to post fresh and unique contents in my blog/site and then submit it to the articles directories, this will definitely drive traffic to my site and also publicize it.
