A fellow marketer needing some good honest advice

Not really sure what you mean by this, but I'll give it a shot.

If you're thinking about creating your own ebook, then you need to really sit down, turn off the computer and come up with some sort of plan.

You said you spend 3-4 hours a night on here, or on your internet marketing business, I'm sure in that time you've come across product creation. If not, please do a search on here (the main forum, the one you posted in) for "product creation" or "ebook creation" or something along those lines.

You'll probably come up tons of threads related to the topic, or atleast some really helpful posts.

Basically though you'll want to start off with something you know. I'm sure you're really good at something. Know how to grow a really good garden? I'm sure people will buy what you know. See what I mean? Pick something you're good at, then go to the internet and research until you're an absolute expert.

Write out an outline for your ebook, and get to writing. You said you don't want to keep paying money, so write it yourself. If you have $100-200 to spend, then outsource it.

Then get to marketing the ebook. There's honestly an endless amount of information on this forum... You just have to look for it.

Welcome to the internet marketing community. June is not a long time to be an internet marketer and making money. Some people have been internet marketing for years, and have made very little or nothing. Not that I am advocating failure, but just letting you know to be patient.

There are so many ways to make money offline(Blogging,video marketing,consulting), but you have to decide what method you like.

What are you spending your money on? Courses or marketing? I definitely wouldn't jump into paid traffic methods unless you have someone with experience helping you.

Review Blogs and article marketing are inexpensive ways to get your foot in the door, and they go hand and hand as you could use article marketing to market your site.

Just pick something and learn everything you can about that one topic. Master it and you will be successful.

well what is your current business model?

You say you like to blog, but what does that mean.

You also say you want an e-book?

is it that you want to write and sell ebooks?

What you need first is a solid business model, so the best way I personally have found to make money online is selling and promoting information products.

Either you can write them your self, edit plr, or promote other peoples info products as an affiliate, which ironically requires you to create your own info product to market effectively as an affiliate.

so be a little more clear on what exactly you want, then we can help you.

You first have to know exactly what you want.

You need to know what path you need to take in order to get where your going.

Yep...unfortunately learning about all the scams and weeding through everything is part of the process.

If you seem to like bloging (and I know theres a million products out there also) I'd HIGHLY recommend Mike Johnsons "Auto Blog Blueprint" Abosolutley the BEST, free updates and GREAT support....you can't go wrong!

However, find one thing and stick with it until it proves profitable

You also have the option of being a Freelancer, if your Business Plans never seem to work out.

You could join a site like Elance.com and find jobs there in something you are very skillful at.
In your case like you said, writing ebooks and blogging.

I understand how you are feeling at the moment, I too struggled for a long while before my Business began profiting.

But in the mean time while I was still learning, I started doing Graphic Designs as a Freelancer.

I worked my way up to $25/hour, which isn't bad at all.
At least you would have some money saved to invest on a proper Business plan you could put together over time.
