How to get specific doubleclick ads to appear on your site?

Good evening guys,

So lately, I've noticed many Iron Man 2 DVD ads (from DoubleClick) on the regular movie/comic websites I visit.

So, my so-so experience with Adsense tells me in order for that ad to appear, the webpage must have many references to Iron Man 2 in it's text content.

However, that is not the case.

My question is the, how do they get that ad to show, and show ALL the time (at least lately due to the release of the movie)?

Thanks as always.

Go to Google. Search for "double click ads". They'll be on top of the results. Go to their site. Find the link to contact a publishers rep.

That took me 10 seconds to find. You could have done that yourself in the time it took you post your question.

A few years ago you had to be able to serve a million ads a month or you wouldn't even be considered. I don't know if that's still the case today.

Just when you think you've got it all figured out, someone changes the rules.

Thanks for the tip. I tried contacting them about how to contact publishers directly, but alas, about 4 days and no response. There turnaround time is apparently 48 hours.

I guess a more general question would be, are there CPC networks out there where you can choose which ads can appear on your site?
