What people on the top of the pyramid are doing?

It's funny how we can talk about some bucks we earned online
as BUSINESS. I personally consider the correct word is hobby.
I read posts like "my business", after this "I earn 50$ a day".
I don't know.

But the point is that since the first affiliate programs on web
corporations like google and yahoo control the course of the
online earnings. Most of us are just worker-bees. Google, Yahoo,
Facebook are the big deal.. are the REAL BUSINESS.

But when we talk about "lone wolfs", those who work for themselfs
and make really good checks, what do you think they do?
Run dropshipping, Develop hot softwares or.. ?

What is your opinion what is the most lucrative positions today in these
changing times

      You hit the nail on the head.

      I guess most people on this forum has "real jobs" and for those of us living in the countries like US/UK/CA/Aus $100 a day is not a salary we can live on. So for most of us it is a hobby of hope. But there is no problem with having dreams and taking action.

      My offline software business (not the one in my sig) is way more profitable but IM is way more fun.

    You can make good money just being a regular affiliate and having many sites on great SERPs...
    It's really a number game.

    I think networks (even small) are the big deal today, more than
    they was 2 or 3 years ago.
    When you have returning customers interested in the topic,
