Would paypal have a problem with this affiliate system?

Ok! So i was thinking. If I would want to make my own affiliate system.
Let's says every affiliate has his own link:
www.myproduct.com/affiliate1.php
www.myproduct.com/affiliate2.php
www.myproduct.com/affiliate2.php
www.myproduct.com/affiliate4.php
www.myproduct.com/affiliate5.php
Would paypal have a probem that I have sales coming from let's say 100 different links?

I think it is better to sell you product through Clickbank. They handles everything including affiliates and customer support.

I believe that you need to have some sort of software or service in order to handle affiliate sales.

If you are using paypal - then I recommend 100% Rapid Action Profits.

It will do exactly what you want...and here is the cool thing:

The RAP Script pays its affiliates 100% of the sale. This means all the money goes into THEIR paypal account.

This avoids all sorts of problems.

So, here is how it works...

Say you offer 50% commission on sales. The script would then rotate sales between you and the affiliate.

    First sale goes to you.
    Second sale goes to affiliate.
    Third sale goes to you.
Forth sale goes to affiliate and so forth.

    See how that works?

This helps avoid 1099's, more accounting work, problematic paypal issues, etc.

The biggest issue most have is dealing with refunds. This is simple though, just make sure all affiliates sign a refund agreement - that is, if they get a sale and get a refund request, they MUST fulfill it.

If they don't, they get banned from your program.

(Rap can manage all of that)

Plus, Rapid Actions Profits has sales letter split testing, you can do physical products with the add ons, list at RAPBank (Like clickbank, but instant commission place for rap owners and affiliates), membership sites...just about anything.

No, it's not my site. I just use it and recommend it!

    Hey,

I honestly believe that there are only few people in this forum who can really answer this question correctly. Instead I would recommend to contact PayPal and ask whether they are cool about your system.

Few months ago I was working on a $1 trial offer and I just wanted to know whether everything is ok from the ethical/legal point of view, so I contacted PayPal and interestingly enough they've reviewed my copy and told me what else should I add to my it to make everything legit.

I'm using iDevAffiliate and the way their links are structured is yoursite.com/123.html where 123 is the affiliate id.

Paypal has been fine with it, so your method should be fine as well.

Paypal wouldn't have any problem at all. They don't care where the sale originates (could even be multiple domains, rather than just different folders).

HOWEVER - that's a long way from being an affiliate system. Having a separate landing page for each affiliate does nothing for telling you where a sale came from, nor who you owe commissions.

    Hope this helps,
