My site is not showing in the Browser!

Hello,

I have a page/site that I wanted to upload to my website through File Zilla but it's not appearing on the Browser even though the File Zilla says the page is already in the Remote directory.

I wanted this page to be uploaded in my public_file but when I check out on the browser, it's not there, just my normal website is there. File Zilla tells me that the page is already in the Remote Site but its not on the browser all the same. Please help me with suggestions on how I can overcome this problem.

When I go to Browser, I only see my initial website but this other page is not there.

Thanks

Have you called your page index, and have you uploaded to the public directory

Are you sure you uploaded the website to the correct directory?

Hint: public_html is a better place than public_file or public_ftp

I have had a similar problem - several times. As Sandra suggested, refresh your page, and it might solve the problem. Did for me more than once. If that doesn't work, talk to your hosting provider. I use Host Gator, and I used their instant chat tech support to solve the problem. Just one of the reasons I like Host Gator.

Clear out your temporary internet files and cookies.

            See if that helps.

Thanks for your taking time to answer my question. But I am new to Internet Marketing and still learning therefore would appreciate if you could describe to me how to 'Refresh' the page. Thanks.

When I tried to upload it to the public_html directory, File Zilla is telling me that the file is already existing there. But, when I go to check on the browser its not appearing.

You may have the rights to the file set improperly. Your FileZilla is an FTP client which require authentication which allows it to see all files.

Your browser is not an authenticated service, so if the file rights do not allow public view it cannot access the file.

Just one more possibility for you to check.

    Barry

P.S. If you have CPanel access you can check for the file and rights through the file manager at your hosting service.

      Just another possibility...

I've used FileZilla before and one issue that I have noticed before is that occasionally it would successfully upload your file but the size of the file uploaded was 0 bytes. So your page would show up as a blank white page when you tried to load it.

I had to upload the file several times until the size of the file uploaded was not zero.

Hope you find a solution to your issue!

Thanks to All of you, will go to CPanel and check the File Manager as suggested.

When I go to the browser it's only showing my initial index file/web page. What I want to upload is the squeeze page and it is the one that appears in the public_html directory but not on the web.
