Advise fir any newbie?

INTERNET MARKETING

Hi fellow Warriors:

I'm writing thus thread and hope that I'm warned before banned... But if one is a newbie as an IM marketer which is the way/ program does one suggest to take either their niche market affiliate product or CPA offers to market?

Perhaps someone on here can suggest/advice me or others like me in the same boat how to build a list from the bottom up so we have a flow of traffic to market too... Not only tools to work with but their experience on what has worked for them and how they implemented it?

Again I hope I'm not invading any rules... If so surely I will be warned before being banned (again)?

Use the search function and READ. You really need to pick a method (affiliate marketing, CPA, etc) and work it. Decide what is best for you and what you think you can afford in terms of hosting, and auto responders. For a good free keyword research tool I highly recommend Market Samurai.

Like I said do a search first.

  Suppose you'd pick a set of keywords like "weight loss" and used the Google Adwords Tool as a reference - now I have a trail copy of Market Samurai as you said, first I am not familiar with it, nor can really afford the whole copy...

Even after the trial has expired you still get the Keyword Module for free. take a look at The Challenge (it's in my signature) for the full course (free) but in a nutshell, what you want to do is take that general term and "drill down" to find a micro-niche, a set of phrases that you can rank for. Think of this in terms of finding problems to solve for people.

  You really can dramatically cut down on the time it takes you to earn a great living online if you educate yourself properly. That doesn't mean buying up every course that comes your way but you do need to find a successful business model, study it, implement it and most importantly, stick with it!

  That's the best advice you'll find. So many people start something, and then give up after only a few weeks, or even a few days, because they aren't seeing results. HELLO! In the real world, with a brick & mortar business, you can go YEARS without seeing substantial profits, so to see people give up on THEIR BUSINESS in such a short period of time is crazy!
  
  People will go through this same cycle for YEARS, and if they had just stuck it out from the beginning, they would have a successful business by now!

To find a bussines model,that show you the route,will definately give you direction,where have security,advice and the benefit to built knowlege from that person until you have all the components of internet marketing.

Thanks all- good advice about biz model... I just learned that I had to move my existing domain to a WP and have to revamp my site into a scope of hardware services & repairs so that is going to be a whole different market scope. I mean, although BuyIT pc never used word press before it sea more suitable now to focus on my main bread-n-butter niche first. Guess what I'm asking is can I narrow it down to a local area where I can do services insure (offline world here folks) although I would live to sell notebooks and netbooks online plus hardware as well- any advise on that matter?

A business model can be difficult to define- does anyone have some excellent suggestions on how to narrow this down?

Or should one buy a package offer that includes PLR w/ sales letter and such along with online tools that work?

I mean one with prosperous skills to generate traffic?

You will have to do your own research here. It depends on what your short and long-term goals are. In short, don't look for anyone to hold your hand as this is a choice you must make for yourself. Read the forums.

In the long term of event one would choose a popular niche like health, etc and desire to index keywords pertaining to it -- and implementing the content in regards to the niche and do a public relation and articles along back links - does one consider this the true solid method to generate traffic?

  The best thing to do is get a foundation in making money online first, then you'll see all the different ways you can use techniques to make money with. I got that foundation by investing in a good internet marketing membership.
  
  I'm the type of person that has to see things done by video step-by-step. I need the strategy first then the techniques. I do think that list building will be the best method for the long-term.

What worked for me is doing the following 5 steps my mentor taught me.

1st: Create a squeeze page
2nd: Product Creation
3rd: Salesletter Copywriting
4th: Outsourcing of graphics
5th: Build a list from scratch using solo ads and adswaps

I finished creating my marketing system, Step 1-4 on the 29th Aug 2010. I build a list of 2000 subs in 4 weeks and make $676.93 selling my own products.
