I was wondering if anybody had tried a downsell after their product offer but instead of just reducing the price / product features instead asked the customer why they didn't take up the first offer and then present them with a new offer.
Super product $20
If the customer declines the offer ->
"Hey I noticed you declined our offer, please tell us why?"
a) It's too expensive --> Links to normal down sell offer
b) I have no money --> Links to free trial then buy later
c) I didn't understand it --> Links to more detailed information about the product
So your asking and providing an immediate response tailor made for them.
