I've seen a merchant that (in addition to his product) he was selling other related clickbank products on his main sales page through HIS affiliate link.

LOL, that one really made me chuckle.

Promoting JV partners' products on your backend is one thing,
but putting them right on the main sales page is just too
      unfair to your own affiliates.

Honestly, I don't understand why some people would expect
others would still promote their products if they are being
      so unfair to their affiliates.

I've seen CB merchant who has an option to pay directly via PayPal to his/her account too.

There is nothing wrong with the strategy, to get the most out of the visitor, and to close more sales, but this is a major turn off for major affiliates, which defeats the purpose of being a CB vendor in the first place.

But if you consider that not all people are looking to recruit affiliates, perhaps this is just a strategic problem rather than being ignorant.

      I have seen that too.

Personally I wouldn't do it as I know it would turn off
many of my affiliates to promote my product.

Ironically enough, I have seen one woman is doing it successfully.

All those "rocket" products (Rocket Spanish, French, Jamorama, etc) have that more expensive physical course option that is non-commissionable to affiliates.

Unless maybe I'm unaware of some in-house link setup that tracks both CB and physical sales...

    That's kind of lame.
