Is site and blog on same domain name good
Hi, I have a site at mydomain.com. I was going to put a wordpress blog to promote that site on another domain name, but a couple of warriors in here told me to put it on the same domain. I did not even know you could do that, but I did it.
So now I have mydomain.com and mydomain.com/blog both using the same domain name.
My question is, is this good for seo reasons, and does google see the sites as one or two different sites. The reason I ask is, the main site is basically done, and probably won't change much. When I post to the blog, which I will a couple times a week, will the search engines see that as fresh content on the main site, or just the blog.
The reason I am curious is because if they don't see it as fresh content for the main site, then I will make the effort to make changes there occasionally.
